107. Surah Al-Ma'unسورة الماعون
107. Surah Al-Ma'un
Almsgiving
In the name of God, the Almighty, the Merciful.
بِسْمِاللّٰهِالرَّحْمٰنِالرَّح۪يمِ
Bismi Allahi arrahmani arraheem
Hast thou seen him who denies the Doctrine?
اَرَاَيْتَالَّذ۪ييُكَذِّبُبِالدّ۪ينِۜ١
Araayta allathee yukaththibu biddeen
That is he who repels the fatherless
فَذٰلِكَالَّذ۪ييَدُعُّالْيَت۪يمَۙ٢
Fathalika allathee yaduAAAAualyateem
And encourages not the feeding of the needy.
وَلَايَحُضُّعَلٰىطَعَامِالْمِسْك۪ينِۜ٣
Wala yahuddu AAalataAAami almiskeen
Then woe to the performers of duty: —
فَوَيْلٌلِلْمُصَلّ۪ينَۙ٤
Fawaylun lilmusalleen
Those who are of their duty heedless;
اَلَّذ۪ينَهُمْعَنْصَلَاتِهِمْسَاهُونَۙ٥
Allatheena hum AAan salatihimsahoon
Those who make show
اَلَّذ۪ينَهُمْيُرَٓاؤُ۫نَۙ٦
Allatheena hum yuraoon
And refuse small things!
وَيَمْنَعُونَالْمَاعُونَ٧
WayamnaAAoona almaAAoon
