“We should have invented a lie about God if we returned to your creed after God has delivered us from it. It is not for us to return to it save if God our Lord should will. Our Lord encompasses all things in knowledge. In God have we placed our trust.” — “Our Lord, decide Thou between us and our people with justice, for Thou art the best of those who give decision.”

قَدِ افْتَرَيْنَا عَلَى اللّٰهِ كَذِباً اِنْ عُدْنَا ف۪ي مِلَّتِكُمْ بَعْدَ اِذْ نَجّٰينَا اللّٰهُ مِنْهَاۜ وَمَا يَكُونُ لَـنَٓا اَنْ نَعُودَ ف۪يهَٓا اِلَّٓا اَنْ يَشَٓاءَ اللّٰهُ رَبُّنَاۜ وَسِعَ رَبُّنَا كُلَّ شَيْءٍ عِلْماًۜ عَلَى اللّٰهِ تَوَكَّلْنَاۜ رَبَّـنَا افْتَحْ بَيْنَنَا وَبَيْنَ قَوْمِنَا بِالْحَقِّ وَاَنْتَ خَيْرُ الْفَاتِح۪ينَ
Qadi iftarayna AAala Allahikathiban in AAudna fee millatikum baAAda ithnajjana Allahu minha wamayakoonu lana an naAAooda feeha illa an yashaaAllahu rabbuna wasiAAa rabbuna kulla shay-inAAilman AAala Allahi tawakkalna rabbanaiftah baynana wabayna qawmina bilhaqqiwaanta khayru alfatiheen

" In Allah, our Creator, do we trust and to Him do we and our people plead our causes and He shall justly decide them". "O Allah, our Creator", he prayed, " You are the best and the most competent of all judges Who decide a case as put by opponent parties".
