99. Surah Az-Zalzalah
The Earthquake
In the name of God, the Almighty, the Merciful.
بِسْمِاللّٰهِالرَّحْمٰنِالرَّح۪يمِ
Bismi Allahi arrahmani arraheem
When the earth is shaken with great shaking,
اِذَازُلْزِلَتِالْاَرْضُزِلْزَالَهَاۙ١
Itha zulzilati al-ardu zilzalaha
And the earth brings forth its burdens,
وَاَخْرَجَتِالْاَرْضُاَثْقَالَهَاۙ٢
Waakhrajati al-ardu athqalaha
And man says: “What ails it?”
وَقَالَالْاِنْسَانُمَالَهَاۚ٣
Waqala al-insanu ma laha
That day, it will recount its news
يَوْمَئِذٍتُحَدِّثُاَخْبَارَهَاۙ٤
Yawma-ithin tuhaddithu akhbaraha
Because thy Lord has instructed it.
بِاَنَّرَبَّكَاَوْحٰىلَهَاۜ٥
Bi-anna rabbaka awha laha
That day, men will come out separately to be shown their deeds.
يَوْمَئِذٍيَصْدُرُالنَّاسُاَشْتَاتاًلِيُرَوْااَعْمَالَهُمْۜ٦
Yawma-ithin yasduru annasuashtatan liyuraw aAAmalahum
And whoso does the weight of an atom of good will see it.
فَمَنْيَعْمَلْمِثْقَالَذَرَّةٍخَيْراًيَرَهُۜ٧
Faman yaAAmal mithqala tharratinkhayran yarah
And whoso does the weight of an atom of evil will see it.
وَمَنْيَعْمَلْمِثْقَالَذَرَّةٍشَراًّيَرَهُ٨
Waman yaAAmal mithqala tharratinsharran yarah
