Their sides forsake their beds; they call to their Lord in fear and hope, and of what We have provided them they spend.

The true believers are those who sacrifice a part of their sleeping time to worship their Lord. They are afraid to offend their Lord with their action and hope in getting their rewards from Him. They are the one who devote a part of their resources to God pleasing ends.
