Say thou: “O doctors of the Law: come to an equitable word between us and you: that we serve not save God; and that we ascribe not partnership to Him; and that none of us takes others as lords instead of God.” And if they turn away, then say you: “Bear witness that we are submitting.”

Say, ‘People of the Book! come to a proposition which is the same for us and you – that we should worship none but Allah and not associate any partners with Him and not take one another as lords besides Allah. ’ If they turn away, say, ‘Bear witness that we are Muslims.’
Say: "O people of the Scripture, let us come to a common understanding between us and between you; that we do not serve except God, and do not set up anything at all with Him, and that none of us takes each other as patrons beside God. " If they turn away, then Say: "Bear witness that we have surrendered."
Say, "O People of the Book! Let us come to a mutual agreement, that we shall worship and obey none but God. That neither shall we ascribe divinity to anyone beside Him, nor shall we take human beings as our lords beside God." And if they turn away, then say, "Bear witness that it is we who have surrendered ourselves unto Him."

Say, "O people of the book, let us come to a common statement between us and you; that we do not serve except God, and do not set up anything at all with Him, and that none of us takes each other as lords beside God." If they turn away, then say, "Bear witness that we have peacefully surrendered."
Say, "O followers of the scripture, let us come to a logical agreement between us and you: that we shall not worship except GOD; that we never set up any idols besides Him, nor set up any human beings as lords beside GOD." If they turn away, say, "Bear witness that we are submitters."
Tell them: "O people of the Book, let us come to an agreement on that which is common between us, that we worship no one but God, and make none His compeer, and that none of us take any others for lord apart from God. " If they turn away you tell them: "Bear witness that we submit to Him."
Say, "O People of the Scripture, come to a word that is equitable between us and you - that we will not worship except Allah and not associate anything with Him and not take one another as lords instead of Allah. " But if they turn away, then say, "Bear witness that we are Muslims ."
Say: "O followers of earlier revelation! Come unto that tenet which we and you hold in common: that we shall worship none but God, and that we shall not ascribe divinity to aught beside Him, and that we shall not take human beings for our lords beside God. " And if they turn away, then say: "Bear witness that it is we who have surrendered ourselves unto Him."
Say: O People of the Scripture! Come to an agreement between us and you: that we shall worship none but Allah, and that we shall ascribe no partner unto Him, and that none of us shall take others for lords beside Allah. And if they turn away, then say: Bear witness that we are they who have surrendered (unto Him).
Say: 'People of the Book! Come to a word common between us and you: that we shall serve none but Allah and shall associate none with Him in His divinity and that some of us will not take others as lords beside Allah.' And if they turn their backs (from accepting this call), tell them: 'Bear witness that we are the ones who have submitted ourselves exclusively to Allah.'
Say to them: "O you Ahl al-Kitab, let us come to terms to agree among ourselves that we venerate and worship no one but Allah and that we shall not incorporate with Him other deities. Nor shall any of us take another for a godhead or a tutelary guardian besides Allah." If they turn a deaf ear and insist upon hugging their irreverent conviction to their hearts, then say to them: "Do then bear witness that we conform our will to Allah’s blessed will, and this reflects conformity to Islam".
Say: "O the followers of the Scripture, let us establish a common ground: That we worship none but God; that we do not associate no partner with God, that we do not idolize any human being (whether such person is a Prophet, sport champion, actor, politician, etc. )" Now if they refuse this proposal, say: “Bear witness that we are Muslim (submitters to God.)
Say (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم): "O people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians): Come to a word that is just between us and you, that we worship none but Allâh (Alone), and that we associate no partners with Him, and that none of us shall take others as lords besides Allâh. Then, if they turn away, say: "Bear witness that we are Muslims."
Say: "O People of the Book! come to common terms as between us and you: That we worship none but Allah; that we associate no partners with him; that we erect not, from among ourselves, Lords and patrons other than Allah." If then they turn back, say ye: "Bear witness that we (at least) are Muslims (bowing to Allah's Will).
Say, ˹O Prophet,˺ "O People of the Book! Let us come to common terms: that we will worship none but Allah, associate none with Him, nor take one another as lords instead of Allah." But if they turn away, then say, “Bear witness that we have submitted ˹to Allah alone˺.”
Say, "O people of the Book, come to a word common between us and between you, that we worship none but Allah, that we associate nothing with Him and that some of us do not take others as Lords instead of Allah." Then, should they turn back, say, “Bear witness that we are Muslims.”
Say, ‘People of the Book, let us arrive at a statement that is common to us all: we worship God alone, we ascribe no partner to Him, and none of us takes others beside God as lords.’ If they turn away, say, ‘Witness our devotion to Him.’
Say: 'People of the Book! Come now to a word common between us and you, that we serve none but God, and that we associate not aught with Him, and do not some of us take others as Lords, apart from God. ' And if they turn their backs, say: 'Bear witness that we are Muslims.'
Say, 'O ye people of the Book, come to a word laid down plainly between us and you, that we will not serve other than God, nor associate aught with him, nor take each other for lords rather than God. ' But if they turn back then say, 'Bear witness that we are resigned.'
Say, "O you people of the Book, come to an agreement between us and you, that we will not serve other than Allah, nor associate aught with him, nor take others for Lords rather than Allah. " But if they turn away then say, "Bear witness that we are they who have surrendered."
Say, "O population of the Book, (Or: Family of the Book, i. e., the Jews and christians) come to a level word between us and you, that we worship none except Allah, and that we do not associate anything with Him, and that some of us do not take to themselves others (Literally: some "others") as lords, apart from Allah." So, in case they turn away, then say, "Bear witness that we are Muslims." (Literally: we have surrendered "to Allah").
Say, O ye who have received the scripture, come to a just determination between us and you; that we worship not any except God, and associate no creature with him; and that the one of us take not the other for lords, beside God. But if they turn back, say, bear witness that we are true believers.
Say: "O People of the Book! Come to agreement between us and you; That we worship none other than Allah; And that we do not place partners with Him; And that we do not take from among ourselves, lords and patrons other than Allah". If then they turn their back, you say: “Be it known (to you) and you bear witness that we are Muslims (surrendering to Allah’s Will)”.
Say, `O people of the Scripture! let us agree to a proposition common to us both that we worship none but Allâh and that we associate no partner with Him and that some of us shall not hold others as lords besides Allâh. ' But if they turn away (refusing) say, `Bear witness that we are the only submitting ones (to one God).'
Say, ‘O People of the Book! Come to a word common between us and you: that we will worship no one but Allah, and that we will not ascribe any partner to Him, and that we will not take each other as lords besides Allah. ’ But if they turn away, say, ‘Be witnesses that we are muslims.’
