Recite to them the true report of Adam’s two sons when they offered a sacrifice and it was accepted from one of them but not accepted from the other. The one said, ‘I shall kill you.’ The other said, ‘Allah only accepts from people who have taqwa.
And recite for them the news of Adam's two sons in truth. They had both made an offering, and it was accepted from one of them, and not accepted from the other. He said: "I will kill you!"; he said: "God only accepts from the righteous."

AND CONVEY unto them, setting forth the truth, the story of the two sons of Adam -how each offered a sacrifice, and it was accepted from one of them whereas it was not accepted from the other. said: "I will surely slay thee!" replied: "Behold, God accepts only from those who are conscious of Him.

And relate to -the Jews- O Muhammad, the true narrative of the two sons of Adam, -Habil and Kabil- each of them made an offering to Allah hoping to be recipients of His blessings. But Allah accepted the oblation of one and not the other. Vexed at the good fortune of his brother, the latter said to the former: "I will kill you". And there said the former: "But Allah accepts the deeds of those who entertain the profound reverence dutiful to Him".
Now recite the true story of the two sons of Adam. They made offerings to please God. The offering of one was accepted the offering of the other one was rejected. The latter said: "I will kill you." The other replied: “ God accepts only the offerings of the pious ones.”
And (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) recite to them (the Jews) the story of the two sons of Adam (Hâbîl and Qâbîl-Abel and Cain) in truth; when each offered a sacrifice (to Allâh), it was accepted from the one but not from the other. The latter said to the former: "I will surely kill you." The former said: "Verily, Allâh accepts only from those who are Al-Muttaqûn (the pious - See V.2:2)."

Relate to them in truth ˹O Prophet˺ the story of Adam’s two sons—how each offered a sacrifice: one’s offering was accepted while the other’s was not, so he threatened ˹his brother˺, "I will kill you!" His brother replied, “Allah only accepts ˹the offering˺ of the sincerely devout.

One (of them) said, "Indeed, I will definitely kill you." (The other) said, "Surely Allah (graciously) accepts only of the pious.
Relate also unto them the history of the two sons of Adam, with truth. When they offered their offering, and it was accepted from one of them, and was not accepted from the other, Cain said to his brother, I will certainly kill thee. Abel answered, God only accepteth the offering of the pious;
