Hood replied: "I am not crazy; on the contrary, I am chosen as a prophet by the Creator of the worlds. "
(Hûd) said: "O my people! There is no foolishness in me, but (I am) a Messenger from the Lord of the ‘Âlamîn (mankind, jinn and all that exists)!

Hûd replied, "O my people! I am no fool! But I am a messenger from the Lord of all worlds,
He said, "O my people, there is no folly in me, but I am a messenger from the Lord of all the worlds.
He said, ‘My people, there is nothing foolish about me! On the contrary, I am a messenger from the Lord of all the Worlds:
Said he, 'My people, there is no folly in me; but I am a Messenger from the Lord of all Being. '

He replied, O my people, I am not guided by folly; but I am a messenger unto you from the Lord of all creatures:
He said: "O my people! I am not a fool, but (I am) a messenger from the Lord (and Cherisher) of the Worlds!
He said, `O my people! there is no foolishness in me, on the contrary I am a Messenger from the Lord of the worlds.
He said, ‘O my people, I am not in folly. Rather I am an apostle from the Lord of all the worlds.
