100. Surah Al-'Adiyat
The Chargers
In the name of God, the Almighty, the Merciful.
بِسْمِاللّٰهِالرَّحْمٰنِالرَّح۪يمِ
Bismi Allahi arrahmani arraheem
By the chargers snorting!
وَالْعَـادِيَاتِضَبْـحاًۙ١
WalAAadiyati dabha
And by the strikers of sparks of fire!
فَالْمُـورِيَاتِقَـدْحاًۙ٢
Falmooriyati qadha
And by the raiders at dawn
فَالْمُغ۪يرَاتِصُبْحاًۙ٣
Falmugheerati subha
Raising thereby dust
فَاَثَرْنَبِه۪نَقْعاًۙ٤
Faatharna bihi naqAAa
Then breaching thereby the midst together!
فَوَسَطْنَبِه۪جَمْعاًۙ٥
Fawasatna bihi jamAAa
Man is ungrateful to his Lord,
اِنَّالْاِنْسَانَلِرَبِّه۪لَكَنُودٌۚ٦
Inna al-insana lirabbihi lakanood
And he is to that a witness.
وَاِنَّهُعَلٰىذٰلِكَلَشَه۪يدٌۚ٧
Wa-innahu AAala thalikalashaheed
But in love of wealth is he strong.
وَاِنَّهُلِحُبِّالْخَيْرِلَشَد۪يدٌۜ٨
Wa-innahu lihubbi alkhayri lashadeed
Does he then not know when what is in the graves is overturned
اَفَلَايَعْلَمُاِذَابُعْثِرَمَافِيالْقُبُورِۙ٩
Afala yaAAlamu itha buAAthira mafee alquboor
And what is in the breasts obtained
وَحُصِّلَمَافِيالصُّدُورِۙ١٠
Wahussila ma fee assudoor
Their Lord of them, that day, will be aware!
اِنَّرَبَّهُمْبِهِمْيَوْمَئِذٍلَخَب۪يرٌ١١
Inna rabbahum bihim yawma-ithinlakhabeer
