They said: “By God, indeed God has preferred thee over us and we were of the offenders!”
They said, ‘By Allah, Allah has favoured you above us. Clearly we were in the wrong.’
They said: "By God, God has indeed preferred you over us and we were wrongdoers. "
They said, "By God! Certainly Allah has raised you above us, and we were indeed at fault. "
They said: “By God, indeed God has preferred thee over us and we were of the offenders!”
They said: "By God, God has indeed preferred you over us and we have been wrongdoers."
They said, "By God, God has indeed preferred you over us and we were wrongdoers."
They said, "By GOD, GOD has truly preferred you over us. We were definitely wrong."
They said: "By God, God has favoured you above us, for we have indeed been sinners. "
They said, "By Allah, certainly has Allah preferred you over us, and indeed, we have been sinners. "
said: "By God! Most certainly has God raised thee high above us, and we were indeed but sinners!"
They said: By Allah, verily Allah hath preferred thee above us, and we were indeed sinful.
They said: "We swear by Allah! Indeed Allah has chosen you in preference to us and we were truly guilty."
"Goodness", they said, "indeed Allah has taken you by preference out of all of us and exalted you in status, rank and fortune and characterized you by impressive disposition. " "We do acknowledge our sinful deed and confess ourselves to Allah with full purpose of amendment of life."
They said: "We were wrong and God has made you superior to us. "
They said: "By Allâh! Indeed Allâh has preferred you above us, and we certainly have been sinners."
They said: "By Allah! indeed has Allah preferred thee above us, and we certainly have been guilty of sin!"
They admitted, "By Allah! Allah has truly preferred you over us, and we have surely been sinful."
They said, "We swear by Allah, indeed Allah has given to you preference over us, and we were guilty in fact."
They said, ‘By God! God really did favour you over all of us and we were in the wrong!’
'By God, ' they said, 'God has indeed preferred thee above us, and certainly we have been sinful. '
They said, 'By God! God has chosen thee over us; and we indeed were sinners. '
They said, "Are you then indeed Joseph?" He said, "I am Joseph, and this is my brother; Allah has been gracious towards us. Verily, whoever fears Allah (repulses evil or is righteous) and is patient (endures) - verily, Allah wastes not the hire of those who do right (or good)."
They said, "By Allah! Indeed, Allah has already preferred you above us, and decidedly we were indeed sinners. "
They said, by God, now hath God chosen thee above us; and we have surely been sinners.
They said: "By Allah! Truly, Allah has chosen you over us, and we certainly have been guilty of sin!"
They said, `By Allâh, Allâh has surely exalted you above us and we have indeed been guilty. '
They said, ‘By Allah, Allah has certainly preferred you over us, and we have indeed been erring. ’
