Was it a wonder to men that We revealed to a man among them: “Warn thou men, and bear thou glad tidings to those who heed warning, that they have a precedence of honour in the sight of their Lord”? The false claimers of guidance say: “This is an obvious sorcerer.”

Do people find it so surprising that We should reveal to a man among them: ‘Warn mankind and give good news to those who have iman that they are on a sure footing with their Lord’? The kafirun say, ‘This is downright magic!’
Is it a surprise for the people that We would inspire a man from amongst them: "Warn mankind and give good news to those who believe, that they will have a footing of truth with their Lord. " The rejecters said: "This is clearly magic!"
Is it too much of a wonder for people that We reveal Our Message to a man among them? "You shall warn mankind, and give good news to those who attain belief that they have a sure footing with their Lord. " Those who are bent upon denying the Truth, say, "This man is an obvious wizard." (He is gifted with spellbinding eloquence).

Is it a surprise for the people who We inspired a man from among them: "Warn the people and give good news to those who believe, that they will have a footing of truth with their Lord." The rejecters said: "This is clearly magic!"
Is it a surprise for the people that We would inspire a man from amongst them: "Warn people and give good news to those who acknowledge, that they will have a footing of truth with their Lord." The ingrates said, "Evidently, this is a magician!"
Is it too much of a wonder for the people that we inspired a man like them? He (was inspired to say), "You shall warn the people, and give good news to those who believe that they have attained a position of prominence at their Lord." The disbelievers said, "This is a clever magician!"
Are the people astonished that a man who is one of them was commanded by Us to warn them and to bring glad tidings to those who believe that they have a true precedence with their Lord? (Yet) the unbelievers say: "He is a clear sorcerer. "
Have the people been amazed that We revealed to a man from among them, , "Warn mankind and give good tidings to those who believe that they will have a precedence of honor with their Lord"? the disbelievers say, "Indeed, this is an obvious magician. "
Do people deem it strange that We should have inspired a man from their own midst : "Warn all mankind, and give unto those who have attained to faith the glad tiding that in their Sustainer's sight they surpass all others in that they are completely sincere-? they who deny the truth say, "Behold. he is clearly but a spellbinder!"
Is it a wonder for mankind that We have inspired a man among them, saying: Warn mankind and bring unto those who believe the good tidings that they have a sure footing with their Lord? The disbelievers say: Lo! this is a mere wizard.
Does it seem strange to people that We should have revealed to a man from among themselves, directing him to warn the people (who lie engrossed in heedlessness); and to give good news to the believers that they shall enjoy true honour and an exalted status with their Lord? (Is this so strange that) the deniers of the truth should say: 'This man is indeed an evident sorcerer'?
Is it so exceptional in peoples' sight to a degree exciting their wonder and astonishment that We inspire one of them with such divine knowledge to warn them and warn all people of the danger of denying Allah, and to announce blissful tidings to those of them who have recognized Him, that Heaven shall set them on their feet secure and esteemed high? Yet the infidels dispute the facts with perspicuous energy, declaring that this, man - Muhammad- is simply a necromancer who stands manifest of sorcery.
Is it really a strange thing that I (God) should reveal my Words to an ordinary person (like Mohammad), in order to warn people of the consequence of their actions and to give good news to the believers about their rewards? Why that is then the disbelievers say: "This book is nothing but a sorcery?"
Is it a wonder for mankind that We have sent Our Revelation to a man from among themselves (i.e. Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) (saying): "Warn mankind (of the coming torment in Hell), and give good news to those who believe (in the Oneness of Allâh and in His Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) that they shall have with their Lord the rewards of their good deeds?" (But) the disbelievers say: "This is indeed an evident sorcerer (i.e. Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم and the Qur’ân)!
Is it a matter of wonderment to men that We have sent Our inspiration to a man from among themselves?- that he should warn mankind (of their danger), and give the good news to the Believers that they have before their Lord the lofty rank of truth. (But) say the Unbelievers: "This is indeed an evident sorcerer!"
Is it astonishing to people that We have sent revelation to a man from among themselves, ˹instructing him,˺ "Warn humanity and give good news to the believers that they will have an honourable status with their Lord."? Yet the disbelievers said, “Indeed, this ˹man˺ is clearly a magician!”
Is it surprising for the people that We have sent the divine revelation to a man from among them to direct him that he should warn the people (who are heedless), and give happy news to those who believe that they will have a truly excellent footing at a place near their Lord? The disbelievers said, "Surely, he is an open sorcerer."
Is it so surprising to people that We have revealed to a man from among them that he should warn people, and give glad news to those who believe, that they are on a sure footing with their Lord? those who disbelieve say, ‘This man is clearly a sorcerer.’
Was it a wonder to the people that We revealed to a man from among them: 'Warn the people, and give thou good tidings to the believers that they have a sure footing with their Lord'? The unbelievers say, 'This is a manifest sorcerer. '
Those are the signs of the wise Book! was it a wonder to the folk I that we inspired a man from amongst themselves, 'Warn thou the folk; and give glad tidings to those who believe, that for them there is an advance of sincerity gone before them with their Lord?' The misbelievers say, 'Verily, this is an obvious sorcerer!'
These are the Ayats (signs or verses) of the Book of Wisdom (or Wise Scripture)!
Was it a wonder to mankind that We revealed to a man from (among) them, (saying), "Warn mankind and give good tidings to the ones who have believed that they have a sure footing (Literally: a sincere footing) in the Providence of their Lord"? The disbelievers have said, "Surely this is indeed an evident sorcerer. "
Is it a strange thing unto the men of Mecca, that We have revealed our will unto a man from among them, saying, denounce threats unto men if they believe not; and bear good tidings unto those who believe, that on the merit of their sincerity they have an interest with their Lord? The unbelievers say, this is manifest sorcery.
Is it a matter of wonder for men that We have sent Our revelation to a man (who is) from themselves? (Declaring) that he should warn Mankind (of the danger), and give the good news to the believers that they have before their Lord the highest Rank of Truth. (But) the disbelievers say: "This (man, the Prophet) is clearly a magician!"
Is this a (matter of) wonder for the people that We have sent Our revelation to a man from among themselves (saying), `Warn the people (against the evils of disbelief and sin) and give glad tidings to those who believe that they stand on a strong and honourable footing with their Lord?' The disbelievers say, `Certainly, this (man) is an evident enchanter. '
Does it seem odd to these people that We have revealed to a man from among themselves, , ‘Warn mankind, and give good news to the faithful that they are in good standing with their Lord’? The faithless say, ‘This is indeed a plain magician. ’
