He said: “I am only a messenger of thy Lord, that I might give thee a pure lad.”
He said, ‘I am only your Lord’s messenger so that He can give you a pure boy. ’
He said: "I am the messenger of your Lord, to give you the gift of a pure son. "
He said, "I am only a Messenger of your Lord who says 'I shall bestow upon you the gift of a son endowed with a spotless character. '" (Tasreef with (3:45) is very important here).
He said: “I am only a messenger of thy Lord, that I might give thee a pure lad.”
He said: "I am the messenger of your Lord, to grant you the gift of a pure son."
He said, "I am the messenger of your Lord, that He may grant you the gift of a pure son."
He said, "I am the messenger of your Lord, to grant you a pure son."
He replied: "I am only a messenger from your Lord (sent) to bestow a good son on you. "
He said, "I am only the messenger of your Lord to give you a pure boy. "
answered: "I' am but a messenger of thy Sustainer, `I shall bestow upon thee the gift of a son endowed with purity. '"
He said: I am only a messenger of thy Lord, that I may bestow on thee a faultless son.
He said: "I am just a message-bearer of your Lord, I have come to grant you a most pure boy."
The disguised angel said: "But I am the Messenger of Allah, your Creator", I am assigned to grace you with the divine prerogative of procreating a son who is stamped with the character of sublimity, holiness and piety"
The angel replied: "Relax, I am a Messenger from your Lord. I am sent to inform you that you are going to have a righteous son as a gift (in response to your devotion to God.)
(The angel) said: "I am only a messenger from your Lord, (to announce) to you the gift of a righteous son."
He said: "Nay, I am only a messenger from thy Lord, (to announce) to thee the gift of a holy son.
He responded, "I am only a messenger from your Lord, ˹sent˺ to bless you with a pure son."
He said, "I am but a message-bearer of your Lord (sent) to give you a boy, purified."
but he said, ‘I am but a Mes-senger from your Lord, to announce to you the gift of a pure son.’
If thou fearest God... He said, 'I am but a messenger come from thy Lord, to give thee a boy most pure.
Said he, 'I am only a messenger of thy Lord to bestow on thee a pure boy. '
Said she, "Verily, I take refuge in the Merciful One from you, if you are god-fearing. "
He said, "Surely I am only a Messenger of your Lord to bestow upon you a most cleansed youth. "
He answered, verily I am the messenger of thy Lord, and am sent to give thee a holy son.
He said: "I am a messenger from your Lord, (only to announce to) you, the gift of a righteous son:
He said, `I am but a messenger of your Lord. I give you (glad tidings of) a most pure son.'
He said, ‘I am only a messenger of your Lord that I may give you a pure son. ’
