She said: “How can I have a lad, when no mortal has touched me, neither have I been unchaste?”
She said, ‘How can I have a boy when no man has touched me and I am not an unchaste woman?’
She said: "How can I have a son when no man has touched me, nor do I desire such"
She said, "How can I have a son when no man has ever touched me? For, never have I been a loose woman!" (3:46), (19:28).
She said: “How can I have a lad, when no mortal has touched me, neither have I been unchaste?”
She said: "How can I have a son when no human being has been with me, nor have I desired such?"
She said, "How can I have a son when no human has touched me, nor do I desire such?"
She said, "How can I have a son, when no man has touched me; I have never been unchaste."
"How can I have a son, " she said, "when no man has touched me, nor am I sinful?"
She said, "How can I have a boy while no man has touched me and I have not been unchaste?"
Said she: "How can I have a son when no man has ever touched me? - for, never have I been a loose woman!"
She said: How can I have a son when no mortal hath touched me, neither have I been unchaste?
Mary said: "How can a boy be born to me when no man has even touched me, nor have I ever been unchaste?"
"How shall I possibly procreate a son", asked Maryam, when, no man has ever touched me nor did I participate in immorality?"
She said: "How can a chaste woman who has never been touched by a man conceive a child?
She said: "How can I have a son, when no man has touched me, nor am I unchaste?"
She said: "How shall I have a son, seeing that no man has touched me, and I am not unchaste?"
She wondered, "How can I have a son when no man has ever touched me, nor am I unchaste?"
She said, "How shall I have a boy while no human has ever touched me, nor have I ever been unchaste?"
She said, ‘How can I have a son when no man has touched me? I have not been unchaste,’
She said, 'How shall I have a son whom no mortal has touched, neither have I been unchaste?'
Said she, 'How can I have a boy when no man has touched me, and when I am no harlot?'
Said he, "I am only a messenger of your Lord to bestow on you a pure son. "
She said, "However can I have a youth, and no mortal has touched me, neither have I been a prostitute?"
She said, how shall I have a son, seeing a man hath not touched me, and I am no harlot?
She said: "How shall I have a son, when no man has touched me, and I am not immodest (or indecent)?"
She said, `How can I bear a son while no man (has married me and) has yet touched me, nor have I been unchaste. '
She said, ‘How shall I have a child seeing that no human being has ever touched me, nor have I been unchaste?’
