86. Surah At-Tariq, Verse 4

There is no self which has no guardian over it.

Every soul has a recorder over it.

There is no person without a watch being kept over him. (The Law of Requital is ever-vigilant).

There is no soul but has over it a custodian.

Every soul has a recorder over it.

Absolutely, everyone is well guarded.

That over each soul there is a guardian.

There is no soul but that it has over it a protector.

no human being has ever been left unguarded.

No human soul but hath a guardian over it.

There is no living being but there is a protector over it.*

That every soul is but protected by a guardian angel who watches over innocence and folly,

That every soul has a protector.

There is no human being but has a protector over him (or her) (i.e. angels in charge of each human being guarding him, writing his good and bad deeds)

There is no soul but has a protector over it.

There is no soul without a vigilant angel ˹recording everything˺.

-there is no human being, but there is a watcher over him.

there is a watcher over every soul.

Over every soul there is a watcher.

Verily, every soul has a guardian over it.

Verily, every soul has a guardian over it.

Decidedly over every self there is assuredly a Preserver.

Every soul hath a guardian set over it.

There is no soul without a Protector over it.

Remember! a guardian is appointed (by God) over every soul.
