“So the word of our Lord has become binding upon us: We are to taste.
Our Lord’s Word has been carried out against us, that we would taste it.
"So our Lord's decree is now upon us, that we will suffer. "
But now the Word of our Lord has come to pass about all of us. Verily, we are bound to taste the fruit of our deeds.

Now the Word of our Lord hath been fulfilled concerning us. Lo! we are about to taste (the doom).
and so we became deserving of the Word of our Lord that we shall be made to suffer chastisement.
"And the word of Allah", they Will add, "which was predicted beforehand is being fulfilled, and now will all of us experience the taste of the punishment falling to us as our lot and making us bewail at the day we were born".
"The Lord’s Judgment against us was just; now we have to accept the punishment. "
"So now the Word of our Lord has been justified against us, that we shall certainly (have to) taste (the torment).

So, the word of our Lord has come true against us. Indeed, we have to taste (the punishment).
Our Lord’s sentence on us is just and we must all taste the punishment.
So our Lord's Word is realised against us; we are tasting it.
And the sentence of our Lord shall be due for us; verily, we shall surely taste thereof;
"So the sentence of our Lord has come to pass against us: we shall surely taste (punishment);
"So, our Lord's Word (Literally: Saying) has come true against us; surely we are indeed tasting (it).
Wherefore the sentence of our Lord hath been justly pronounced against us, and we shall surely taste his vengeance.
"So now (this moment) has come true against us, the Word of our Lord that we shall really taste (the penalty of our sins).
`So (today) we all deserve the judgment of our Lord. We are the sufferers (of the punishment for our own evil deeds).
So our Lord’s word became due against us that we shall indeed taste .
