And We gave to David and Solomon knowledge; and they said: “Praise belongs to God who has preferred us above many of His believing servants.”

We gave knowledge to Dawud and Sulayman who said, ‘Praise be to Allah who has favoured us over many of His slaves who are muminun. ’
And We bestowed upon David and Solomon knowledge, and they both said: "Praise be to God who preferred us over many of His believing servants. "
And indeed, We bestowed upon David and Solomon knowledge and they used to say, "Praise be to Allah Who has blessed us more than a great many of His believing servants. "
And We gave to David and Solomon knowledge; and they said: “Praise belongs to God who has preferred us above many of His believing servants.”
And We bestowed upon David and Solomon knowledge, and they both said: "Praise be to God who preferred us over many of His believing servants."

And We verily gave knowledge unto David and Solomon, and they said: Praise be to Allah, Who hath preferred us above many of His believing slaves!
(On the other hand), We granted knowledge to David and Solomon* and they said: "All praise be to Allah Who has exalted us above many of His believing servants!"*
And We bestowed on Dawud (David) and Sulayman (Solomon) divine knowledge for which they were grateful and they expressed their gratitude in words, thus: "Our bosoms", they said, "surge forth answering thanks to Allah Who has privileged us with what is beyond the common advantages of others of His votaries whose hearts reflect the image of religious and spiritual virtues.
As to David and Solomon, I granted them the knowledge as a gift. They both were grateful and said: "Thank to the Lord Who treated us better than the most of his believing servants."
And indeed We gave knowledge to Dâwûd (David) and Sulaimân (Solomon), and they both said: "All the praises and thanks be to Allâh, Who has preferred us above many of His believing slaves!"
We gave (in the past) knowledge to David and Solomon: And they both said: "Praise be to Allah, Who has favoured us above many of his servants who believe!"
Indeed, We granted knowledge to David and Solomon. And they said ˹in acknowledgment˺, "All praise is for Allah Who has privileged us over many of His faithful servants."
Surely We gave knowledge to Dāwūd and Sulaimān, and they said, "Praise belongs to Allah who made us excel many of His believing servants.
We gave knowledge to David and Solomon, and they both said, ‘Praise be to God, who has favoured us over many of His believing servants.’
And We gave David and Solomon knowledge and they said, 'Praise belongs to God who has preferred us over many of His believing servants. '

And they denied them, though their souls acknowledged them, for spite and arrogance; but behold the nature of the consequences for the evildoers (transgressors)!
And indeed We already brought Dawûd (David) and Sulayman (Solomon) knowledge, and they (both) said, "Praise be to Allah, Who has graced us over many of His believing bondmen. "
We heretofore bestowed knowledge on David and Solomon; and they said, praise be unto God, who hath made us more excellent than many of his faithful servants!
And indeed, We gave knowledge to Dawood (David) and to Sulaiman (Solomon): And they both said: "All the Praises (and thanks) be to Allah, Who has chosen us above many of His servants who believe!"
And We granted knowledge to David and Solomon, and they said, `All true and perfect praise belongs to Allâh alone Who has exalted us over many of His believing servants. '
Certainly We gave David and Solomon knowledge, and they said, ‘All praise belongs to Allah, who granted us an advantage over many of His faithful servants. ’
