(And he thinks that it is the departing,
and he knows it is indeed the final parting,
And he assumes it is the time of passing.
But he knows that this is the parting.

and he realizes that it is (the time of) departure (from the world,)
when he knows it is the final parting;

And he is sure that it is the time of parting
And he expects that it is the parting,
And shall think it to be his departure out of this world;
And he will conclude that it was (the time) of leaving (this world):
And he himself realizes that it is the (time of) parting.
