And recite thou to them the report of the two sons of Adam with the truth, when they offered an offering, and it was accepted from the one of them and not accepted from the other: — he said: “I will kill thee.” Said he: “God only accepts from those of prudent fear.

وَاتْلُ عَلَيْهِمْ نَبَاَ ابْنَيْ اٰدَمَ بِالْحَقِّۢ اِذْ قَرَّبَا قُرْبَاناً فَتُقُبِّلَ مِنْ اَحَدِهِمَا وَلَمْ يُتَقَبَّلْ مِنَ الْاٰخَرِۜ قَالَ لَاَقْتُلَنَّكَۜ قَالَ اِنَّمَا يَتَقَبَّلُ اللّٰهُ مِنَ الْمُتَّق۪ينَ
