The day the wavering men and the wavering women will say to those who heeded warning: “Wait for us, that we may acquire some of your light,” it will be said: “Go back behind you, and seek light.” And a wall will be set up between them having a door, the inward of which is Mercy, and the outward, to the fore thereof, is Punishment.

That Day the men and women of the hypocrites will say to those who have iman, ‘Wait for us so that we can borrow some of your light. ’ They will be told, ‘Go back and look for light!’ And a wall will be erected between them with a gate in it, on the inside of which there will be mercy but before whose exterior lies the punishment.
On that Day, the hypocrite men and the hypocrite women will say to those who believed: "Wait for us! Let us absorb some of your light. " It will be said: "Go back behind you, and seek light." So a barrier will be set up between them, whose gate separates mercy on the inner side, from retribution on the outer side.
On that Day the hypocrite men and the hypocrite women will say to the believers, "Wait, look on us. Let us borrow from your light!" It will be said, "Go back behind you and seek light." Then a barrier will be put up with a gate therein. On the inner side of it will be Grace, and on the outer side of it the doom.

The day the hypocrites, men and women, will say to the believers: "Wait for us that we may borrow a little light from your light," they will be told: "Go back, and look for your light. " A wall shall be raised between them in which there will be a door. Within it will be benevolence and retribution without.
On the Day the hypocrite men and hypocrite women will say to those who believed, "Wait for us that we may acquire some of your light. " It will be said, "Go back behind you and seek light." And a wall will be placed between them with a door, its interior containing mercy, but on the outside of it is torment.
On that Day shall the hypocrites, both men and women, speak unto those who have attained to faith: "Wait for us! Let us have a light from your light!" they will be told: “Turn back, and seek a light !” And thereupon a wall will be raised between them , with a gate in it: within it will be grace and mercy, and against the outside thereof, suffering.
On the day when the hypocritical men and the hypocritical women will say unto those who believe: Look on us that we may borrow from your light! it will be said: Go back and seek for light! Then there will separate them a wall wherein is a gate, the inner side whereof containeth mercy, while the outer side thereof is toward the doom.
On that Day the hypocrites, both men and women, shall say to the believers: "Look at us that we may extract some light from your light."* They will be told: “Go back and seek light for yourselves elsewhere.” Then a wall shall be erected between them with a door in it. On the inside of it there will be mercy, and on the outside of it there will be chastisement.*
This is the Day when the hypocrites, among the men and the women, will say to those whose hearts reflected the image of religious and spiritual virtues: "Would you look back in our direction, so that we avail ourselves of your light". But they will be told: "Go back to where we were granted light and pray for it" only to find themselves separated from those who are blessed and shut out behind a barrier emitting mercy to those within and torment to those without.
You will see on that Day that the hypocritical men and women will ask the believers to lean toward them so that they may share their lights. They will told: "Go away; seek your lights elsewhere." Then a wall with a gate will pop up in front of them. (Once the people of paradise enter through the gate the gate will be closed.) On one side the gate there will be the blessing of Paradise and on the other side the torture of Hell.
On the Day when the hypocrites - men and women - will say to the believers: "Wait for us! Let us get something from your light!" It will be said: "Go back to your rear! Then seek a light!" So a wall will be put up between them, with a gate therein. Inside it will be mercy, and outside it will be torment."
One Day will the Hypocrites- men and women - say to the Believers: "Wait for us! Let us borrow (a Light) from your Light!" It will be said: "Turn ye back to your rear! then seek a Light (where ye can)!" So a wall will be put up betwixt them, with a gate therein. Within it will be Mercy throughout, and without it, all alongside, will be (Wrath and) Punishment!
On that Day hypocrite men and women will beg the believers, "Wait for us so that we may have some of your light." It will be said ˹mockingly˺, “Go back ˹to the world˺ and seek a light ˹there˺!” Then a ˹separating˺ wall with a gate will be erected between them. On the near side will be grace and on the far side will be torment.

On that day the hypocritical men and the hypocritical women shall say unto those who believe, stay for us, that we may borrow some of your light. It shall be answered, return back into the world, and seek light. And a high wall shall be set betwixt them, wherein shall be a gate, within which shall be mercy; and without it, overagainst the same, the torment of hell.
On the Day the hypocrites— Men and women, will say to the believers: "Wait for us! Let us get something (a light) from your Light!" It will be said: "(You) go back to the rear! Then seek a light (where you can)!" So, a wall will be put between them, with a gate in it. Within it (the wall) will be mercy throughout, and outside and all alongside of it, will be (anger and) punishment!
That day the hypocritical men and hypocritical women will say to those who believe, `Wait for us so that we might obtain some illumination from your (this) light. ' It will be said to them, `Go back (if you can) and seek for light.' Then a wall with a gateway will be set up separating them (and the believers). The inside of it will be all mercy (where the righteous have to go) and the outside of it shall be facing torment (where the hypocrites have to stay).
The day the hypocrites, men and women, will say to the faithful, ‘Please let up on us, that we may glean something from your light!’ They will be told: ‘Go back and grope for light!’ Then there will be set up between them a wall with a gate, with mercy on its interior and punishment toward its exterior.
