105. Surah Al-Fil
The Elephant
In the name of God, the Almighty, the Merciful.
بِسْمِاللّٰهِالرَّحْمٰنِالرَّح۪يمِ
Bismi Allahi arrahmani arraheem
Hast thou not considered how thy Lord did with the companions of one weak in judgment?
اَلَمْتَرَكَيْفَفَعَلَرَبُّكَبِاَصْحَابِالْف۪يلِۜ١
Alam tara kayfa faAAala rabbuka bi-as-habialfeel
Did He not make their plan go astray?
اَلَمْيَجْعَلْكَيْدَهُمْف۪يتَضْل۪يلٍۙ٢
Alam yajAAal kaydahum fee tadleel
And He sent against them flights in droves
وَاَرْسَلَعَلَيْهِمْطَيْراًاَبَاب۪يلَۙ٣
Waarsala AAalayhim tayran ababeel
Striking them with stones of baked clay.
تَرْم۪يهِمْبِحِجَارَةٍمِنْسِجّ۪يلٍۖۙ٤
Tarmeehim bihijaratin minsijjeel
Then He made them like eaten straw.
فَجَعَلَهُمْكَعَصْفٍمَأْكُولٍ٥
FajaAAalahum kaAAasfin ma/kool
