# 105. Surah Al-Fil

_In the name of God, the Almighty, the Merciful._

بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّح۪يمِ

## Verse 1

اَلَمْ تَرَ كَيْفَ فَعَلَ رَبُّكَ بِاَصْحَابِ الْف۪يلِۜ

Alam tara kayfa faAAala rabbuka bi-as-habialfeel

Hast thou not considered how thy Lord did with the companions of one weak in judgment?

## Verse 2

اَلَمْ يَجْعَلْ كَيْدَهُمْ ف۪ي تَضْل۪يلٍۙ

Alam yajAAal kaydahum fee tadleel

Did He not make their plan go astray?

## Verse 3

وَاَرْسَلَ عَلَيْهِمْ طَيْراً اَبَاب۪يلَۙ

Waarsala AAalayhim tayran ababeel

And He sent against them flights in droves

تَرْم۪يهِمْ بِحِجَارَةٍ مِنْ سِجّ۪يلٍۖۙ

Tarmeehim bihijaratin minsijjeel

Striking them with stones of baked clay.

## Verse 5

فَجَعَلَهُمْ كَعَصْفٍ مَأْكُولٍ

FajaAAalahum kaAAasfin ma/kool

Then He made them like eaten straw.
