In the name of God, the Almighty, the Merciful.
بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّح۪يمِ
Bismi Allahi arrahmani arraheem
Woe to every slanderer, fault-finder,
وَيْلٌ لِكُلِّ هُمَزَةٍ لُمَزَةٍۨۙ
Waylun likulli humazatin lumaza
Who accumulated wealth and counted it
اَلَّذ۪ي جَمَعَ مَالاً وَعَدَّدَهُۙ
Allathee jamaAAa malanwaAAaddadah
Thinking that his wealth made him immortal!
يَحْسَبُ اَنَّ مَالَهُٓ اَخْلَدَهُۚ
Yahsabu anna malahu akhladah
No, indeed! He will be cast into the Crusher.
كَلَّا لَيُنْبَذَنَّ فِي الْحُطَمَةِۘ
Kalla layunbathanna fee alhutama
And what will convey to thee what the Crusher is?
وَمَٓا اَدْرٰيكَ مَا الْحُطَمَةُۜ
Wama adraka ma alhutama
Which will look down upon the hearts.
اَلَّت۪ي تَطَّلِعُ عَلَى الْاَفْـِٔدَةِۜ
Allatee tattaliAAu AAalaal-af-ida
It will be upon them closed in
اِنَّهَا عَلَيْهِمْ مُؤْصَدَةٌۙ
lnnaha AAalayhim mu/sada
