I CALL TO witness the sky (bespangled) with the signs of the Zodiac,
By the sky containing great stars
CONSIDER the sky full of great constellations,
By the heaven, holding mansions of the stars,
By the heaven with its impregnable castles;*
By the heaven that has been furnished with Zodiacal Signs,
I (God) swear by the galaxies.
By the heaven holding the big stars.
By the sky, (displaying) the Zodiacal Signs;
By the sky full of constellations,
I swear by the sky, the one having stellar formations,
By the sky with its towering constellations,
By heaven of the constellations,
By the heaven with its zodiacal signs!
By the heaven with its zodiacal signs!
And (by) the heaven comprising the constellations,
By the heaven adorned with signs;
By the sky, (displaying) the Zodiacal Signs;
I call to witness the starry spangles of the sky,
