Allah Teala şöyle buyurur: "Güneşi aydınlatıcı, ayı da aydınlık yapan odur. Aya konak yerleri belirlemiştir ki, yılların sayısını ve hesabı bilesiniz. Allah onları gerçek varlıklar olarak yaratmıştır. O bilen bir toplum için ayetlerini ayrıntılı olarak açıklar."
