Said the eminent ones who had waxed proud among his people to those they counted weak, to those who believed among them: “Know you that Ṣāliḥ is an emissary from his Lord?” They said: “We believe in that wherewith he has been sent.”

The ruling circle of those of his people who were arrogant said to those who were oppressed – those among them who had iman – ‘Do you know that Salih has been sent from his Lord?’ They said, ‘We have iman in what he has been sent with. ’
The leaders who were arrogant from among his people said to those who were weak and believed from amongst them: "How do you know that Saleh was sent from his Lord" They said: "We believe in what he has been sent with. "
Their leaders said to the believers, "How do you know that Saleh is sent from his Lord?" They responded, "We believe in the Message he has brought. " (The bringer of such Sublime Message cannot be a liar).

The leaders who were arrogant from among his people said to those who were weak and believed from among them: "How do you know that Saleh was sent from his Lord?" They said: "It is in that which he has been sent that we believe."
The leaders who were arrogant from among his people said to those who had acknowledged among the powerless: "How do you know that Saleh was sent from his Lord?" They said, "We acknowledge the message he has been sent with."
The arrogant leaders among his people said to the common people who believed, "How do you know that Saaleh is sent by his Lord?" They said, "The message he brought has made us believers."
The chiefs among the people who were arrogant towards the weaker ones among them who believed, asked: "Do you really know that Saleh has been sent by his Lord?" They said: "Indeed we believe in the message he has brought. "
Said the eminent ones who were arrogant among his people to those who were oppressed - to those who believed among them, "Do you know that êaliú is sent from his Lord?" They said, "Indeed we, in that with which he was sent, are believers. "
The great ones among his people, who gloried in their arrogance towards all who were deemed weak, said unto the believers among them: "Do you know that salih has been sent by his Sustainer?" They answered: "Verily, we believe in the message which he bears. "
The chieftains of his people, who were scornful, said unto those whom they despised, unto such of them as believed: Know ye that Salih is one sent from his Lord? They said: Lo! In that wherewith he hath been sent we are believers.
The haughty elders of his people said to those believers who had been oppressed: 'Do you know that Salih is one sent forth with a message from his Lord?' They, replied: 'Surely we believe in the message with which he has been sent.'
But the extravagant in their accounts of themselves among his people in whose hearts reigned vices, follies and falsehood said to those whom they viewed with contempt on account of conforming to Islam: " Do you really believe that Saleh has been sent by Allah, his Creator, in the capacity of an Messenger?" "Indeed We do", they said, "and We acknowledge his mission and give credence to the spirit of truth imparted to him from Heaven guiding into all truth".
Their arrogant leaders asked the believers (who were mainly the oppressed ones): "How do you know that Saaleh is the prophet of God?" They replied: "The nature of the very message that he brought was enough for us to believe in his prophet hood. "
The leaders of those who were arrogant among his people said to those who were counted weak - to such of them as believed: "Know you that Sâlih is one sent from his Lord." They said: "We indeed believe in that with which he has been sent."
The leaders of the arrogant party among his people said to those who were reckoned powerless - those among them who believed: "know ye indeed that Salih is a messenger from his Lord?" They said: "We do indeed believe in the revelation which hath been sent through him."
The arrogant chiefs of his people asked the lowly who believed among them, "Are you certain that Ṣâliḥ has been sent by his Lord?" They replied, “We certainly believe in what he has been sent with.”
The haughty chiefs of his people said to those of the oppressed who had believed (in the Messenger), "Do you know for sure that SāliH is a messenger from his Lord?" They said, “Of course, we believe in what he has been sent with.”
but the arrogant leaders among his people said to the believers they thought to be of no account, ‘Do you honestly think that Salih is a messenger from his Lord?’ They said, ‘Yes. We believe in the message sent through him,’
Said the Council of those of his people who waxed proud to those that were abased, to those of them who believed, 'Do you know that Salih is an Envoy from his Lord?' They said, 'In the Message he has been sent with we are believers. '
Said the chiefs of those who were big with pride from amongst his people to those who were weak, - to those amongst them who believed, 'Do ye know that Zalih is sent from his Lord?' They said, 'We do believe in that with which he is sent. '
The chiefs from amongst his people, those who were inflated with pride, said to those whom they despised, those amongst them who believed, "Know you that Salih is sent from his Lord?" They said, "We do believe in that with which he is sent. "
The chiefs who waxed proud from among his people said to whomever were deemed weak, to whomever of them believed, "Do you know that Salih is an Emissary from his Lord?" They said, "Surely in whatever he has been sent with, we are believers. "
The chiefs among his people who were puffed up with pride, said unto those who were esteemed weak, namely, unto those who believed among them, do ye know that Saleh hath been sent from his Lord? They answered, we do surely believe in that wherewith he hath been sent.
The leaders of the proud ones from among his people said to those who were known to be powerless— Those among them who believed: "Do you know that Sálih is truly a messenger from his Lord?" They said: "We do indeed believe in the Revelation which has been sent through him. "
The chieftains of his people who considered themselves strong and great said to those who were reckoned weak, to those of them who had believed, `Are you sure that Sâlih is one sent from his Lord?' They replied, `Surely, we are believers in that (Message) he has been sent with. '
The elite of his people who were arrogant said to those who were abased —to those among them who had faith— ‘Do you know that Ṣāliḥ has been sent by his Lord?’ They said, ‘We indeed believe in what he has been sent with. ’
