By those who remove by drowning
By those who pluck out harshly,
By those that take the person forcibly.
Consider those who dive to bring up. (Pearls from the ocean. People from repression).
By those who remove by drowning
By those that take the person forcibly.
By those that pull forcibly.
The (angels who) snatch (the souls of the disbelievers) forcibly.
I CALL TO WITNESS those who dive and drag,
By those who extract with violence
CONSIDER those that rise only to set,
By those who drag forth to destruction,
By those (angels) that pluck out the soul from depths,
By the angels who violently disembody the souls of those who die captivated by disbelief and discord,
God, hereby, swears by those angles that are in charge of violently taking the souls of the disbelievers in the moment of their death.
By those (angels) who pull out (the souls of the disbelievers and the wicked) with great violence.
By the (angels) who tear out (the souls of the wicked) with violence;
By those ˹angels˺ stripping out ˹evil souls˺ harshly,
I swear by those (angels) who pull out (the souls of the infidels) with extreme force,
By the forceful chargers
By those that pluck out vehemently
By those who tear out violently!
I swear by (or call to witness) those who tear out to destruction,
And (by) the pluckers drowning, (i. e., Angels plucking the disbelievers).
By the angels who tear forth the souls of some with violence;
By the (angels) who tear out (the soul of the wicked, from its depths) with great force:
I call to witness those groups of beings, who perform their duties (towards their Lord and mankind and themselves) with intense zeal and to the best of their capacity,
By those who wrest violently,
