They will pass from one to another a cup wherein is neither vain speech, nor cause of sin,
They will pass round there a drinking cup to one another with no foolish talk and no wrong action in it.
They will enjoy drinks in which there is no harm, nor regret.
And therein they pass from hand to hand cups of delicious drinks that cause no idle talk nor a hangover. ('Ithm' = Pull down, drag down, hangover, harming personality, reducing human dignity or potential).
They will pass from one to another a cup wherein is neither vain speech, nor cause of sin,
They will enjoy drinks therein, from which there is no nonsense, nor blame.
They will exchange one with another a cup in which there is no harm, nor regret.
They will enjoy drinks that are never polluted, and never sinful to drink.
They will exchange cups of wine free of (incitement to) pleasantry or sin.
They will exchange with one another a cup wherein no ill speech or commission of sin.
and in that they shall pass on to one another a cup which will not give rise to empty talk, and neither incite to sin.
There they pass from hand to hand a cup wherein is neither vanity nor cause of sin.
They shall pass on to one another a cup that will incite neither levity nor sin.*
They will be served with a drink which gives a rapturous feeling of bliss and beautitude, and never does it induce them to discourse matters of little value or insignificance, nor do they hear ill tongues or what is morally evil.
They will be passed hand to hand cups of drinks which will not intoxicate them and, therefore, they will never behave indecently or use abusive language.
There they shall pass from hand to hand a (wine) cup, free from any Laghw (dirty, false, evil vain talk between them), and free from sin (because it will be lawful for them to drink).
