Is then he who is on clear evidence from his Lord — like: him to whom has been made fair the evil of his deeds, and they follow their vain desires?
Is someone on a clear path from his Lord like those whose bad actions have been made to seem good to them and who follow their own desires?
Is one who is based on proof from his Lord, as one for whom his evil works have been adorned for him and they followed their desires
Is, then, he who lives by an evident Truth from his Lord like the one to whom his disruptive behavior seems pleasing - while such people are but following their own desires?
Is then he who is on clear evidence from his Lord — like: him to whom has been made fair the evil of his deeds, and they follow their vain desires?
Is he who is based on proof from his Lord, as he for whom his evil works have been adorned for him and they followed their desires?
Is one who is based on proof from his Lord, as one for whom his evil works have been adorned for him and they followed their desires?
Are those enlightened by their Lord the same as those whose evil works are adorned in their eyes, and they follow their own opinions?
Can one who stands on a clear proof from his Lord, be like one enamoured of his evil deeds and follows his inane desires?
So is he who is on clear evidence from his Lord like him to whom the evil of his work has been made attractive and they follow their desires?
CAN, THEN, he who takes his stand on a clear evidence from his Sustainer be likened Unto one to whom the evil of his own doings seems goodly, and unto such as would follow but their own lusts?
Is he who relieth on a clear proof from his Lord like those for whom the evil that they do is beautified while they follow their own lusts?
Then, can he, who is on a Clear Guidance from His Lord, be like him whose evil deeds have been embellished to him, and who pursued their lusts?*
Can he who has acknowledged the truth captivating his heart's ears and his mind's eyes compare with him whose deeds of evil and iniquity allured his mind's eyes and induced him to hug his irreverent conviction to his heart? Or can he compare with such persons who have entertained sensuous notions and in vain have wasted their days?
Are those, who are enlightened by God, equal to those who think that their wrongdoings are the best possible deed and follow none but their low desires?
Is he who is on a clear proof from his Lord, like those for whom their evil deeds that they do are beautified for them, while they follow their own lusts (evil desires)?
Is then one who is on a clear (Path) from his Lord, no better than one to whom the evil of his conduct seems pleasing, and such as follow their own lusts?
Can those ˹believers˺ who stand on clear proof from their Lord be like those whose evil deeds are made appealing to them and ˹only˺ follow their desires?
Then, can one who holds on to a clear proof from his Lord be like those for whom their evil deeds are beautified, and who followed their desires?
Can those who follow clear proof from their Lord be compared to those whose foul deeds are made to seem alluring to them, those who follow their own desires?
What, is he who is upon a clear sign from his Lord like unto such a one unto whom his evil deeds have been decked out fair, and they have followed their caprices?
Is he who rests upon a manifest sign from his Lord like him, the evil of whose works is made seemly to him, and who follow their lusts?
What! Is he who has a clear argument (or relies on clear proof) from his Lord like him to whom the evil of his work is made fair-seeming when they follow their own lusts (or low desires)?
Then is he who is upon a supreme evidence from his Lord like him whose odious deeds have been adorned (i. e., made attractive) for him, and (such as) have closely followed their prejudices?
Shall he, therefore, who followeth the plain declaration of his Lord, be as he whose evil works have been dressed up for him by the devil; and who follow their own lusts?
Then, can he who is on a clear (Path) from his Lord, no better than one to whom the evil of his conduct seems pleasing, and those who follow their own desires?
Can those people who take their stand upon a clear proof from their Lord, be compared to those to whom the evils of their deeds are made to seem attractive and who follow their low desires?
Is he who stands on a manifest proof from his Lord like someone to whom the evil of his conduct is made to seem decorous, and who follow their desires?
