And Iblīs had proved right in his assumption about them, and they followed him save a faction among the believers.
Iblis was correct in his assessment of them and they followed him, except for a group of the muminun.
And Satan has been successful in his suggestions to them, for they followed him, except for a group of the believers.
And indeed, Iblis found them meeting his expectations. All of them followed their selfish desire - barring a few who had remained believers in the Divine Values. (7:17), (17:62).
And Iblīs had proved right in his assumption about them, and they followed him save a faction among the believers.

Perverse has been successful in his suggestions to them, for they followed him, except for a group of those who acknowledge.
Satan found them readily fulfilling his expectations. They followed him, except a few believers.
Thus Iblis found his supposition about them to be true; and except for a section of believers they follow him.
And Iblees had already confirmed through them his assumption, so they followed him, except for a party of believers.
Now, indeed, Iblis did prove that his opinion of them had been right: for they followed him - all but some of the believers .
And Satan indeed found his calculation true concerning them, for they follow him, all save a group of true believers.
Iblis found his estimate of them to be true, and they followed him, except a party of the believers.*
And sure enough was AL-Shaytan (Satan) in the right when he thought he would be able to lead them by the nose to their loss in the maze of error. They followed his footsteps except those few who revered Allah and were faithful to Him.
The Satan was right about them as they followed him except a small group of the believers.
And indeed Iblîs (Satan) did prove true his thought about them: and they followed him, all except a group of true believers (in the Oneness of Allâh).
And on them did Satan prove true his idea, and they followed him, all but a party that believed.
Indeed, Iblîs’ assumption about them has come true, so they ˹all˺ follow him, except a group of ˹true˺ believers.
Iblīs (Satan)has found his assessment true about them. So they followed him, except a group of the believers.
Satan was proved right in his opinion of them, for they all followed him- except for a group of believers-
Iblis proved true his opinion of them, and they followed him, except a party of the believers.
And Iblis verified his suspicion concerning them, and they followed him, save a party of the believers.
And they said, "O our Lord! Make the spaces longer between our journeys. ". They were unjust to themselves (wronged themselves) so We made them as stories (by words, legends) and dispersed them with an utter scattering; most surely there are signs in this for every patient, grateful one.
And indeed Iblîs already verified his expectation of them, so they closely followed him, except a group of the believers.
And Eblis found his opinion of them to be true: And they followed him, except a party of the true believers:
And indeed, Satan did prove his true purpose to be against them: And they followed him all, except a group who believed.
And Iblîs found that he judged regarding them correctly, (that he would be successful in leading the progeny of Adam astray,) excepting (only) a party of true believers, so (all) the rest of the people followed him;
Certainly Iblis had his conjecture come true about them. So they followed him —all except a part of the faithful.
