34. Surah Saba, Verse 17

That is how We repaid them for their ingratitude. Are any but the ungrateful repaid like this?

We thus requited them for what they rejected. And We do not requite except the rejecter.

This was Our Requital for their ingratitude. Do We ever punish anyone but the ungrateful? (Ingratitude = Refusing to share Allah's bounties in equity. It appears that in the Kingdom of Sheba people were divided into two classes, the very rich and the very poor).

That We rewarded them because they denied; and do We reward save the ungrateful?

We thus requited them for what they rejected. And We do not requite except the rejecter.

We thus requited them for their disbelief. Do we not requite only the disbelievers?

That is how We requited them for their ingratitude. We only punish those who are ungrateful.

that We repaid them because they disbelieved. And do We repay except the ungrateful?

thus We requited them for their having denied the truth. But do We ever requite any but the utterly ingrate?

This We awarded them because of their ingratitude. Punish We ever any save the ingrates?

Thus did We retribute them for their ingratitude. And none do We retribute in this manner except the utterly ungrateful.

Such was the thrashing We gave those who welcomed wrongs, but then do We punish but the ungrateful who deviates from sense and declines the divine standard!

This was their punishment for their disbelief and this is the way that I deal with the ungrateful people.

Like this We requited them because they were ungrateful disbelievers. And never do We requite in such a way except those who are ungrateful (disbelievers).

That was the Requital We gave them because they ungratefully rejected Faith: and never do We give (such) requital except to such as are ungrateful rejecters.

This is how We rewarded them for their ingratitude. Would We ever punish ˹anyone in such a way˺ except the ungrateful?

Thus We punished them because of their ungratefulness. We do not give (such a) punishment but to the ungrateful.

In this way We punished them for their ingratitude- would We punish anyone but the ungrateful?

Thus We recompensed them for their unbelief; and do 'We ever recompense any hut the unbeliever?

This did we reward them with, for that they misbelieved; and do we so reward any but misbelievers?

But they turned away, so We sent upon them a flood from Dams, and We converted their two gardens into two gardens yielding bitter fruit and tamarisk and a few lote-trees.

That (was) what We recompensed them for that they disbelieved; and do We recompense (thus) except the ever-disbelieving (one)?

This We gave them in reward, because they were ungrateful: Is any thus rewarded except the ungrateful?

That was the repayment We gave them because they thanklessly rejected Faith: And We never give (such) repayment except to those who are thankless disbelievers (of Faith).

That is how We recompensed them because of their ingratitude. It is only the ungrateful whom We recompense (in the like manner).

We requited them with that for their ingratitude. Do We requite anyone except ingrates?
