“And turn thou not thy cheek to men, and walk thou not in the earth haughtily; God loves not every conceited boaster.
Do not avert your face from people out of haughtiness and do not strut about arrogantly on the earth. Allah does not love anyone who is vain or boastful.
"And do not turn your cheek arrogantly from people, nor shall you roam the Earth insolently. For God does not like the arrogant show offs."
"And never be arrogant with people, and walk not haughtily on the earth. Behold, Allah does not love any bragging boaster. (17:37), (57:23).

Do not hold men in contempt, and do not walk with hauteur on the earth. Verily God does not like the proud and boastful.
And do not turn your cheek toward people and do not walk through the earth exultantly. Indeed, Allah does not like everyone self-deluded and boastful.
"And turn not thy cheek away from people in pride, and walk not haughtily on earth: for, behold, God does not love anyone who, out of self- conceit, acts in a boastful manner.
Turn not thy cheek in scorn toward folk, nor walk with pertness in the land. Lo! Allah loveth not each braggart boaster.
Do not (contemptuously) turn your face away from people,* nor tread haughtily upon earth. Allah does not love the arrogant and the vainglorious.*
"And do not", he continued, "give cheek to people nor inflate it with pride and vanity nor should you walk on earth displaying inordinate self-esteem or with an overweening opinion of your qualities, attainments or estate". "And do realize that Allah detests every boastful who exalts himself and displays inordinate self-esteem".
"Do not treat people with arrogance and do not walk proudly on the earth . Know that God does not like proud people."
"And turn not your face away from men with pride, nor walk in insolence through the earth. Verily, Allâh likes not any arrogant boaster.
"And swell not thy cheek (for pride) at men, nor walk in insolence through the earth; for Allah loveth not any arrogant boaster.
"And do not turn your nose up to people, nor walk pridefully upon the earth. Surely Allah does not like whoever is arrogant, boastful.
and do not turn your cheek away from people, and do not walk on the earth haughtily. Surely, Allah does not like anyone who is arrogant, proud;
Do not turn your nose up at people, nor walk about the place arrogantly, for God does not love arrogant or boastful people.
Turn not thy cheek away from men in scorn, and walk not in the earth exultantly; God loves not any man proud and boastful.
'And twist not thy cheek proudly, nor walk in the land haughtily; verily, God loves not every arrogant boaster:
"O my dear son! Establish worship, and enjoin what is just and forbid iniquity; be patient (constant) whatever befalls you, verily, that is of the steadfast heart of affairs.
And do not turn your cheek away haughtily from mankind, and do not walk in the earth merrily. Surely Allah does not love everyone (who is) always conceited, (and) constantly boastful.
Distort not thy face out of contempt to men, neither walk in the earth with insolence; for God loveth no arrogant, vain-glorious person.
"And do not turn your cheek (with pride) from men, and do not walk in (rude) arrogance on the earth; Verily, Allah does not love any arrogant boaster.
`And do not turn your face away from people in scorn and pride, nor walk about on the earth haughtily. Surely, Allâh does not love any self-conceited boaster.
Do not turn your cheek disdainfully from the people, and do not walk exultantly on the earth. Indeed Allah does not like any swaggering braggart.
