Those who dispute concerning the proofs of God without an authority having come to them — in their breasts is only greatness they will never reach. So seek thou refuge in God; He is the Hearer, the Seeing.

Certainly those who argue about the Signs of Allah without any authority having come to them have nothing in their breasts except for pride which they will never be able to vindicate. Therefore seek refuge with Allah. He is the All-Hearing, the All-Seeing.
Surely, those who dispute about God's revelations without any authority given to them, there is nothing but arrogance in their chests, which they do not perceive. Therefore, seek refuge in God; He is the Hearer, the Seer.
They contest the Messages of Allah without possible authoritative evidence, since they have nothing but false pride in their hearts. By self-glorification none shall attain dignity. (7:146), (40:35). Dispel their designs by seeking refuge in Allah's Laws. Behold, He, only He, is the Hearer, the Seer.

Behold, as for those who call God’s messages in question without having any evidence therefore in their hearts is nothing but overweening self-conceit, which they will never be able to satisfy: seek thou, then, refuge with God - for, verily, He alone is all-hearing, all-seeing!
Lo! those who wrangle concerning the revelations of Allah without a warrant having come unto them, there is naught else in their breasts save pride which they will never attain. So take thou refuge in Allah. Lo! He, only He, is the Hearer, the Seer.

Those who contend with opposing arguments against Allah's signs and seem resolved to dispute the truth of His revelations without being endowed with authority, simply vent their feelings overflowing with the sense of pride and inordinate self-esteem but attaining no end. Therefore, commit yourself O Muhammad, to Allah counter to their falsehood. He is AL-Sami’ (with unlimited audition), and AL-Bassir (the vigilant who sees all things),
Those argumentative people who challenge the word of God without any knowledge are sick of arrogance (without even knowing it) and will fail. Seek refuge in God as He hears everything and sees everything.
Verily those who dispute about the Ayât (proofs, evidence, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) of Allâh, without any authority having come to them, there is nothing else in their breasts except pride . They will never have it (i.e. Prophethood which Allâh has bestowed upon you). So seek refuge in Allâh (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم from the arrogants). Verily, it is He Who is the All-Hearer, the All-Seer.
Those who dispute about the signs of Allah without any authority bestowed on them,- there is nothing in their breasts but (the quest of) greatness, which they shall never attain to: seek refuge, then, in Allah: It is He Who hears and sees (all things).
Surely those who dispute Allah’s signs—with no proof given to them—have nothing in their hearts but greed for dominance, which they will never attain. So seek refuge in Allah. Indeed, He alone is the All-Hearing, All-Seeing.
Surely, those who quarrel in Allah’s verses without any authority having reached them, there is nothing in their hearts but pride of greatness that they are not (able) to reach. So, seek refuge with Allah. Surely, He is the All-Hearing, the All-Seeing.

Surely those who dispute about the revelations (signs, communications) of Allah without any authority that has come to them, there is naught in their breasts but (a desire) to become great which they shall never attain. Therefore, seek refuge in Allah, surely He, only He is the Hearer, the Seer.
Surely the ones who dispute concerning the signs of Allah without any all-binding authority having come up to them, decidedly in their breasts is nothing except pride; in no way will they be attaining (Literally: reaching) it, (i. e., the attainment of the fulfillment of their pride, or harming the Prophet, or attaining Prophet hood) so seek refuge in Allah; surely He, Ever He, is The Ever-Hearing, The Ever-Beholding.
As to those who impugn the signs of God, without any convincing proof which hath been revealed unto them, there is nothing but pride in their breasts; but they shall not attain their desire: Wherefore fly for refuge unto God; for it is He who heareth and seeth.
Verily, those who disagree (and dispute) about the Signs of Allah without any authority given to them— In their hearts there is nothing but (the search for) greatness which they shall never get then, find (help and) shelter in Allah, Verily, it is He is the All Hearing (As-Sami’), the All Seeing (Al-Baseer).
Those who dispute regarding the Messages of Allâh without any authoritative proof having come to them (from God in their support), there is nothing in their minds but (an ambition for) greatness to which (goal) they can never attain. So (do not bother about them rather) go on seeking refuge in Allâh (against their mischiefs). Surely, He alone is the All-Hearing, the All-Seeing.
Indeed those who dispute the signs of Allah without any authority that may have come to them —there is only vanity in their breasts, which they will never satisfy. So seek the protection of Allah; indeed He is the All-hearing, the All-seeing.
