And strayed from them will be what they called to before; and they will know that they have no place of refuge.
What they called upon before will have forsaken them and they will realise they have no way of escape.
And they were abandoned by that which they used to call on before, and they realised that there will be no escape.
And thus, those whom they used to call upon before, will leave them groping in the dark. And they will realize there is no asylum for them.

And so, all that they were wont to invoke aforetime will have forsaken them; and they shall know for certain that there is no escape for them.
And those to whom they used to cry of old have failed them, and they perceive they have no place of refuge.
Then all those deities whom they once used to call upon shall vanish* and they will come to know for sure that there is no escape for them.
And there, they are forsaken and renounced by those whom they regarded and adored before with appropriate acts and rites, who have failed their expectation. And now such a sure watch laid upon them makes them realize that there is no escape.
their idols will come to their rescue and none will come to help them.
And those whom they used to invoke before (in this world) shall disappear from them, and they will perceive that they have no place of refuge (from Allâh’s punishment).
The (deities) they used to invoke aforetime will leave them in the lurch, and they will perceive that they have no way of escape.
Whatever ˹idols˺ they used to invoke besides Allah will fail them. And they will realize that they will have no escape.
And whatever they used to invoke earlier will vanish from them, and they will realize that they have no way to escape.
the gods they invoked before will have vanished away; they will know that there is no escape.
Then that they called upon before will go astray from them and they will think that they have no asylum.
they shall say, 'We do own to thee there is no witness amongst us!' and that on which they used to call before shall stray away from them, and they shall think there is no escape for them.
And away from them shall go what they called upon before, and they shall know for certain that there is no escape for them.
And whatever they used to invoke earlier will err away from them, and they will surmise that in no way can they have any evasion.
And the idols which they called on before, shall withdraw themselves from them; and they shall perceive that there will be no way to escape.
And the (other gods) that they used to call for before will leave them in the anxiety (and pain), and they will see that they have no way to escape.
(Not only that) those (false gods) whom they called upon (in their worship) before that, will be lost to them, they will know for certain that they have no place of escape.
What they used to invoke before has forsaken them, and they know there is no escape for them.
