They will make excuses to you when you return to them. Say thou: “Make not excuses; we will not believe you. God has already informed us of your assertions.” God will see your deeds, as will His messenger, then will you be brought back to the Knower of the Unseen and the Seen, and He will tell you what you did.

يَعْتَذِرُونَ اِلَيْكُمْ اِذَا رَجَعْتُمْ اِلَيْهِمْۜ قُلْ لَا تَعْتَذِرُوا لَنْ نُؤْمِنَ لَكُمْ قَدْ نَبَّاَنَا اللّٰهُ مِنْ اَخْبَارِكُمْۜ وَسَيَرَى اللّٰهُ عَمَلَكُمْ وَرَسُولُهُ ثُمَّ تُرَدُّونَ اِلٰى عَالِمِ الْغَيْبِ وَالشَّهَادَةِ فَيُنَبِّئُكُمْ بِمَا كُنْتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ

    They will make excuses to you when you return to them. Say: ‘Do not make excuses, we will not believe you. Allah has already informed us about you.
