Say thou: “If your fathers, and your sons, and your brothers, and your wives, and your kindred, and the wealth you have acquired, and trade wherein you fear a decline, and dwellings with which you are pleased, be dearer to you than God and His messenger and striving in His cause, then wait until God brings His command”; and God guides not the perfidious people.

قُلْ اِنْ كَانَ اٰبَٓاؤُ۬كُمْ وَاَبْنَٓاؤُ۬كُمْ وَاِخْوَانُكُمْ وَاَزْوَاجُكُمْ وَعَش۪يرَتُكُمْ وَاَمْوَالٌۨ اقْتَرَفْتُمُوهَا وَتِجَارَةٌ تَخْشَوْنَ كَسَادَهَا وَمَسَاكِنُ تَرْضَوْنَـهَٓا اَحَبَّ اِلَيْكُمْ مِنَ اللّٰهِ وَرَسُولِه۪ وَجِهَادٍ ف۪ي سَب۪يلِه۪ فَتَرَبَّصُوا حَتّٰى يَأْتِيَ اللّٰهُ بِاَمْرِه۪ۜ وَاللّٰهُ لَا يَهْدِي الْقَوْمَ الْفَاسِق۪ينَ۟
Qul in kana abaokumwaabnaokum wa-ikhwanukum waazwajukumwaAAasheeratukum waamwalun iqtaraftumooha watijaratuntakhshawna kasadaha wamasakinu tardawnahaahabba ilaykum mina Allahi warasoolihi wajihadinfee sabeelihi fatarabbasoo hatta ya/tiya Allahubi-amrihi wallahu la yahdee alqawma alfasiqeen

    Say: ‘If your fathers or your sons or your brothers or your wives or your tribe, or any wealth you have acquired, or any business you fear may slump, or any house which pleases you, are dearer to you than Allah and His Messenger and doing jihad in His Way, then wait until Allah brings about His command. Allah does not guide people who are deviators.’
