Then have they denied; and there will come to them the report of that whereat they mocked.
They have denied the truth, but the news of what they mocked will certainly come to them.

Thus indeed have they rejected this Message. But in time they will come to understand what it was that they ridiculed.

thus, indeed, have they given the lie (to this message as well). But they will come to understand what it was that they were wont to deride!
Now they have denied (the Truth); but there will come unto them tidings of that whereat they used to scoff.
They will soon come to know the truth of that which they have been scoffing at.*
They labelled the truth -the Quran- as falsehood and counseled deaf to it. But soon shall they realize the truth of all that has been discoursed in this Book which they hold- up to ridicule.
As a result of their denial, pretty soon they will witness the reality of what they were mocking at.
So they have indeed denied (the truth - this Qur’ân), then the news of what they mocked at will come to them.
They have indeed rejected (the Message): so they will know soon (enough) the truth of what they mocked at!
They have certainly denied ˹the truth˺, so they will soon face the consequences of their ridicule.
Thus they rejected (the Truth); well, soon will come to them the real descriptions of what they used to ridicule.
they deny it, but the truth of what they scorned will soon hit them.
So they have cried lies; therefore assuredly tidings will come to them of that they mocked at.
They have called (thee) liar! but there shall come to them a message of that at which they mocked.
But there comes not to them a fresh Reminder from the Beneficent that they did not turn away from.
Then they have readily cried lies; so the tidings will soon come up to them of what they used to mock at.
and they have charged it with falsehood: But a message shall come unto them, which they shall not laugh to scorn.
Truly, they have rejected (the Message): So they will soon know the truth about that which they made fun!
Now, when they have cried lies (to the Messages of their Lord and denied the Qur'ân), there will soon come to them the great tidings (about their own doom and predominance of Islam) which they used to take lightly.
They have certainly denied , but soon there will come to them the news of what they have been deriding.
