And We rained upon them a rain; and evil is the rain of those who were warned.
and made a Rain come pouring down upon them. How evil is the rain of those who are warned!

We poured down upon them a direful rain (of fire and brimstone) and how evil and devastating was the rain on the heads of those who defiantly ignored Allah's warning.
I sent them a shower. What a miserable shower. They had already bee warned about it.
And We rained on them a rain (of torment). And how evil was the rain of those who had been warned!
We rained down on them a shower (of brimstone): and evil was the shower on those who were admonished (but heeded not)!

And We pelted them with a terrible rain (of stones). Look! how terrible was the rain (that descended) upon those who were warned.
