Yet thou dost marvel; and they deride
No wonder you are surprised as they laugh with scorn!
While you were awed, they simply mocked.
Nay, but whereas you (O Prophet) marvel at the Universe, they mock - and again you marvel at their mocking!

Yet while you are filled with wonder, they just scoff;
But you wonder, while they mock,
Nay, but whereas thou dost marvel, they scoff;
Nay, but thou dost marvel when they mock
You marvel (at the wondrous creations of Allah) and they scoff at it,
And there, you Muhammad are filled with Admiration and wonder at Allah's infinite power to create what He will and you marvel at His Omnipotence to restore the dead to life Hereafter while they mock the issue and laugh it to scorn.
Ask the disbelievers, who are created from the mud : "Are they more difficult for God to be recreated or the awesome realm of creation?"
Nay, you (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) wondered (at their insolence) while they mock (at you and at the Qur’ân).
Truly dost thou marvel, while they ridicule,
In fact, you are astonished ˹by their denial˺, while they ridicule ˹you˺.
But you wonder (at their denial), and they mock (at the idea of an Hereafter).
You marvel as they scoff,
Nay, thou marvellest; and they scoff
Nay, thou dost wonder and they jest!
Nay! You wonder while they mock,
No indeed, you wonder, and they scoff,
Thou wondrest at God's power and their obstinacy; but they mock at the arguments urged to convince them:
Nay! Do you wonder while they mock (and make fun of you and the Quran)?
Whereas you marvel (at this mighty spiritual revelation) they hold you in low estimation.
Indeed you wonder, while they engage in ridicule,
