So, that day, their excuses will not profit those who do wrong, nor will they be allowed to make amends.
On that Day the excuses of those who did wrong will not help them nor will they be able to appease Allah.
So on that Day, the excuses of those who transgressed will not help them, nor will they be allowed to revert.
And so on that Day no apologies of the wrongdoers will avail them, nor will they be allowed to make amends.
So, that day, their excuses will not profit those who do wrong, nor will they be allowed to make amends.
So on that Day, the excuses of those who transgressed will not help them, nor will they be allowed to return.
So on that day, the excuses of those who transgressed will not help them, nor will they be allowed to revert.
Therefore, no apology, on that day, will benefit the transgressors, nor will they be excused.
Their excuses will be of no avail to the sinners on that day, and they will not be allowed to beg for favour.
So that Day, their excuse will not benefit those who wronged, nor will they be asked to appease .
And so, on that Day their excuse will be of no avail to those who were bent on evildoing, nor will they be allowed to make amends.
In that day their excuses will not profit those who did injustice, nor will they be allowed to make amends.
So that will be the Day when the excuses of the wrong-doers will not avail them, nor will they be asked to make amends.*
There and then no excuse shall be accepted from the wrongful of actions nor shall they be reproved nor be graced now by repentance.
On that Day, no excuse of the wrongdoers will be accepted; nor will they be given any opportunity to please the Lord.
So on that Day no excuse of theirs will avail those who did wrong (by associating partners in worship with Allâh, and by denying the Day of Resurrection), nor will they be allowed (then) to return to seek Allâh’s Pleasure (by having Islâmic Faith with righteous deeds and by giving up polytheism, sins and crimes with repentance).
So on that Day no excuse of theirs will avail the transgressors, nor will they be invited (then) to seek grace (by repentance).
So on that Day the wrongdoers’ excuses will not benefit them, nor will they be allowed to appease ˹their Lord˺.
So, on that Day, their apology will not benefit the wrongdoers, nor will they be asked to repent.
On that Day the evildoers’ excuses will be of no use to them: they will not be allowed to make amends.
So that day their excuses will not profit the evildoers, nor will they be suffered to make amends.
And on that day their excuse shall profit not those who did wrong; nor shall they be asked to please God again.
And those who are given knowledge and faith will say, "Certainly (indeed, in truth) you tarried according to the ordinance of Allah till the Day of Resurrection, so this is the Day of Resurrection, but you were not aware. "
Then, upon that Day their ready excuse (s) will not profit the ones who did injustice, nor will they (be allowed to) make amends.
On that day their excuse shall not avail those who have acted unjustly; neither shall they be invited any more to make themselves acceptable unto God.
So, on that Day no excuse from them will be of use to those who exceeded the limits, and they will not be welcome to (Allah's) pleasure.
So on that Day no excuses (in their defence) will avail those who had acted unjustly, nor will they be allowed to approach the threshold (to be admitted into the fold of the near ones of God).
On that day the excuses of the wrongdoers will not benefit them, nor will they be asked to propitiate .
