So when he came to Solomon, he said: “Would you supply me with wealth? But what God has given me is better than what He has given you; the truth is, it is you who exult in your gift.

When it reached Sulayman he said, ‘Would you give me wealth when what Allah has given me is better than what He has given you? No, rather it is you who delight in your gift.
So when they came to Solomon he said: "Are you providing me with wealth What God has provided for me is far better than what He has given you. Now you are happy with your gift!"
The envoys reached Solomon with the gift and a letter from the Queen. Solomon said, "What! Do you want to please me with a gift of vanity? Allah has given me better than what He has given you (material wealth and Guidance). Nay, it is you who may exult in your gift." (Historically, the gift was studded with precious jewels and diamonds. Solomon, being a Prophet of God and a powerful emperor expected the Queen to denounce her hostile intentions in the region and to reflect about the One True God).
So when he came to Solomon, he said: “Would you supply me with wealth? But what God has given me is better than what He has given you; the truth is, it is you who exult in your gift.
So when they came to Solomon he said: "Are you providing me with wealth? What God has provided for me is far better than what He has given you. Now you are happy with your gift!"

When the hoopoe returned to Solomon (he told him the news), and he responded (to Sheba's people): "Are you giving me money? What GOD has given me is far better than what He has given you. You are the ones to rejoice in such gifts."
So, when the envoys came to Solomon he said: "Do you wish to increase my wealth? Yet what God has given me is better than what He has given you. No. Be gratified in your present.
So when they came to Solomon, he said, "Do you provide me with wealth? But what Allah has given me is better than what He has given you. Rather, it is you who rejoice in your gift.
Now when came unto Solomon, he said: "Do you people mean to add to my wealth? But that which God has given me is better than all that He has given you! Nay, it is you that would rejoice in this gift of yours!
So when (the envoy) came unto Solomon, (the King) said: What! Would ye help me with wealth? But that which Allah hath given me is better than that which He hath given you. Nay it is ye (and not I) who exult in your gift.
Now, when (the envoy of the Queen) came to Solomon, he said: "Do you want to aid me with wealth? Whatever Allah has granted me is much more than what He has given you.* (Keep for yourselves) your gift in which you are exulting.
And when the envoys presented Sulayman with the present he said: "Do you provide me with wealth!" "What Allah has conferred on me of His grace that abounds in me far excels all that He has bestowed on you. In fact, it is you - people- who would rejoice with such a gift beyond a common joy". It is evident, said Sulayman, that they rejoice at worldly gains whereas We rejoice at inviting to the path of Allah, for which cause we are ready to fight
When the messengers presented the gifts, Solomon said: "Do you want to buy me with this world’s wealth? Don’t you know that what God has given me is much better than the wealth that you are impressed with?"
So when (the messengers with the present) came to Sulaimân (Solomon), he said: "Will you help me in wealth? What Allâh has given me is better than that which He has given you! Nay, you rejoice in your gift!"
Now when (the embassy) came to Solomon, he said: "Will ye give me abundance in wealth? But that which Allah has given me is better than that which He has given you! Nay it is ye who rejoice in your gift!
When the chief-envoy came to him, Solomon said, "Do you offer me wealth? What Allah has granted me is far greater than what He has granted you. No! It is you who rejoice in ˹receiving˺ gifts.
So when he (the envoy) came to Sulaimān, he said, "Are you extending a financial aid to me? So what Allah has given me is much better than what He has given to you. But you yourselves are proud of your gift.
When her envoy came to Solomon, Solomon said, ‘What! Are you offering me wealth? What God has given me is better than what He has given you, though you rejoice in this gift of yours.
But when he came to Solomon he said, 'What, would you succour me with wealth, and what God gave me is better than what He has given you? Nay, but instead you rejoice in your gift!
And when he came to Solomon, he said, 'Do ye proffer me wealth, when what God has given me is better than what He has given you? nay, ye in your gifts rejoice!
"But, verily, I am going to send to them a gift, and will wait to see with what answer the messengers return. "
So, as soon as he (the envoy) came to Sulayman, (Solomon) he said, "Would you supply me with wealth? Then what Allah has brought me is more charitable (i. e., better) than what He has brought you. No indeed, (but) you exult with your present.
And when the queen's ambassador came unto Solomon, that prince said, will ye present me with riches? Verily that which God hath given me, is better than what he hath given you: But ye do glory in your gifts.
So, when (the ministers) came to Sulaiman (Solomon), he said: "Will you give me a lot of wealth? But what Allah has given me is better than what He has given to you! Really! It is you who take joy in your gift!
So when he (- the Queen's envoy) came (with the present) to Solomon he (- Solomon) said, `Do you mean to help me with (your) wealth? Well, what Allâh has given me is far better than what He has given you. You seem to be rather proud of your gift.
So when he came to Solomon, he said, ‘Are you aiding me with wealth? What Allah has given me is better than what He has given you. Rather you are exultant over your gift!
