And among the doctors of the Law are those who believe in God and what was sent down to you, and what was sent down to them: — humble towards God, they sell not the proofs of God at a cheap price — those have their reward with their Lord; God is swift in reckoning.

Among the people of the Book there are some who have iman in Allah and in what has been sent down to you and what was sent down to them, and who are humble before Allah. They do not sell Allah’s Signs for a paltry price. Such people will have their reward with their Lord. And Allah is swift at reckoning.
And from the people of the Scripture are those who believe in God and what was sent down to you and what was sent down to them; fearful to God, they do not purchase with His revelations a cheap price. These will have their reward with their Lord. God is quick in reckoning.

Allah shall reward such people with what is generously commensurate with their deeds of wisdom and piety. Allah is swift indeed in putting the law into execution.

They have the utmost respect for the Lord and do not trade his revelations for a hand full of money. They will also have their reward as God’s judgment will come pretty soon.
