God indeed showed favour to the believers when He raised up among them a messenger among themselves, reciting to them His proofs, and increasing them in purity, and teaching them the Writ and wisdom — though they were before in manifest error.

لَقَدْ مَنَّ اللّٰهُ عَلَى الْمُؤْمِن۪ينَ اِذْ بَعَثَ ف۪يهِمْ رَسُولاً مِنْ اَنْفُسِهِمْ يَتْلُوا عَلَيْهِمْ اٰيَاتِه۪ وَيُزَكّ۪يهِمْ وَيُعَلِّمُهُمُ الْكِتَابَ وَالْحِكْمَةَۚ وَاِنْ كَانُوا مِنْ قَبْلُ لَف۪ي ضَلَالٍ مُب۪ينٍ
Laqad manna Allahu AAalaalmu/mineena ith baAAatha feehim rasoolan min anfusihimyatloo AAalayhim ayatihi wayuzakkeehimwayuAAallimuhumu alkitaba walhikmata wa-inkanoo min qablu lafee dalalin mubeen
