And the people of Noah: when they denied the messengers, We drowned them, and made of them for mankind a proof; and We have prepared for the wrongdoers a painful punishment.

And the people of Noah, when they denied the messengers We drowned them, and We made them a lesson for mankind. And We have prepared for the wicked a painful retribution.
And Noah's folk: When they had denied the Messengers (denying him was denying the eternal Message of Allah), We caused them to drown and made them a symbol for all mankind. For, We have readied an awful doom for all who do wrong.

And the people of Noah: when they gave the lie to the apostles, We caused them to drown, and made them a symbol for all mankind: for, grievous suffering have We readied for all who do wrong!
And Noah's folk, when they denied the messengers, We drowned them and made of them a portent for mankind. We have prepared a painful doom for evil-doers.
(The same happened with) the people of Noah: when they gave the lie to the Messengers* We drowned them and made of them a Sign of warning for all mankind. We have kept ready a painful chastisement for the wrong-doers*.
And the people of Nuh (Noah) who treated the Messengers as imposters, We drowned them and made of them an example and a deterrent to the people, wherefore We have prepared for the wrongful of actions -and refuse to repent- the torment laid upon the damned.
As for the people of Noah, I drowned them after having denied their Prophet. I made of them a warning case for mankind (so that they know I am Serious when I say that) I have prepared a painful punishment for the unjust people.
And Nûh’s (Noah) people, when they denied the Messengers, We drowned them, and We made them as a sign for mankind. And We have prepared a painful torment for the Zâlimûn (polytheists and wrong-doers).
And the people of Noah,- when they rejected the messengers, We drowned them, and We made them as a Sign for mankind; and We have prepared for (all) wrong-doers a grievous Penalty;-
And when the people of Noah rejected the messengers, We drowned them, making them an example to humanity. And We have prepared a painful punishment for the wrongdoers.
As for the people of NūH, when they rejected the messengers, We drowned them and made them an example for mankind, and We have prepared a painful punishment for the transgressors.
The people of Noah, too: when they rejected their messengers, We drowned them and made them an example to all people. We have prepared a painful torment for the evildoers,
And the people of Noah, when they cried lies to the Messengers, We drowned them, and made them to be a sign to mankind; and We have prepared for the evildoers a painful chastisement.
And the people of Noah, when they said the apostles were liars, we drowned them, and we made them a sign for men; and we prepared for the unjust a grievous woe.
And We said, "Go you together to the people who have denied Our revelations. Then We destroyed them with utter destruction."
And the people of Nûh, (Noah) as soon as they cried lies to the Messengers, We drowned them, and We made them to be a sign to mankind; and We have readied for the unjust a painful torment.
And remember the people of Noah, when they accused our apostles of imposture: We drowned them, and made them a sign unto mankind. And We have prepared for the unjust a painful torment.
And the people of Nuh (Noah)— When they rejected the messengers, We drowned them, and We made them like a Sign for (all) mankind: And We have prepared a (most) painful penalty for (all) wrongdoers—
And (We destroyed) the people of Noah (too), when they treated (Our) Messengers as liars, We drowned them and made them a sign (to learn a lesson from) for mankind. Indeed We have in store a woeful punishment for (such of) the wrongdoers.
And Noah’s people, We drowned them when they impugned the apostles, and We made them a sign for mankind, and We have prepared for the wrongdoers a painful punishment.
