But he has not attempted the steep path.
But he has not braved the steep ascent.
He should choose the difficult path.
But he hardly tries the uphill road, the Ascent.
But he has not attempted the steep path.
He should choose the better path.
He should choose the better path.
He should choose the difficult path.
But he could not scale the steep ascent.
But he has not broken through the difficult pass.
But he would not try to ascend the steep uphill road...
But he hath not attempted the Ascent -
But he did not venture to scale the difficult steep.*
Yet he has not been eager to challenge his way through the path of virtue and attempt the difficult path of overcoming self-interest,
What a shame that man does not chose the path which is going upward to Heaven.
But he has not attempted to pass on the path that is steep (i.e. the path which will lead to goodness and success).
But he hath made no haste on the path that is steep.
If only they had attempted the challenging path ˹of goodness instead˺!
Yet he did not make his way through the steep course,- -
Yet he has not attempted the steep path.
Yet he has not assaulted the steep;
but he will not attempt the steep!
But he has not attempted the ascent!
Yet he has not rushed along the uneven (Or: steep) track.
Yet he attempteth not the cliff.
But he has made no haste for the path that is hard,
Yet he would not attempt the uphill path of steep and difficult ascent.
Yet he has not embarked upon the uphill task.
