Sam Gerrans - The Qur'an: A Complete Revelation

Say thou: “Who has made unlawful the adornment of God which He brought forth for His servants, and the good things of provision?” Say thou: “These are for those who heed warning in the life of this world exclusively on the Day of Resurrection.” Thus do We set out and detail the proofs for people who know.

قُلْ مَنْ حَرَّمَ ز۪ينَةَ اللّٰهِ الَّت۪ٓي اَخْرَجَ لِعِبَادِه۪ وَالطَّيِّبَاتِ مِنَ الرِّزْقِۜ قُلْ هِيَ لِلَّذ۪ينَ اٰمَنُوا فِي الْحَيٰوةِ الدُّنْيَا خَالِصَةً يَوْمَ الْقِيٰمَةِۜ كَذٰلِكَ نُفَصِّلُ الْاٰيَاتِ لِقَوْمٍ يَعْلَمُونَ
Qul man harrama zeenata Allahiallatee akhraja liAAibadihi wattayyibatimina arrizqi qul hiya lillatheena amanoofee alhayati addunya khalisatanyawma alqiyamati kathalika nufassilu al-ayatiliqawmin yaAAlamoon

    Say: ‘My Lord has forbidden indecency, both open and hidden, and wrong action, and unrightful tyranny, and associating anything with Allah for which He has sent down no authority, and saying things about Allah you do not know. ’
