And when Our messengers came to Lot, he was distressed for them, and felt unable to protect them. And they said: “Fear thou not, nor grieve. We will deliver thee and thy household save thy wife; she is of those who stay behind.

When Our Messengers came to Lut, he was distressed on their account, feeling incapable of protecting them. They said, ‘Do not fear and do not grieve. We are going to rescue you and your family – except for your wife; she will be one of those who stay behind.
Thus when Our messengers came to Lot, they were mistreated, and he was embarrassed towards them. And they said: "Do not fear, and do not be saddened. We will save you and your family, except for your wife; she is of those doomed."
When Our Messengers came to Lot, he was grieved on their account, for he could not protect them. But they said, "Fear not, nor grieve! Behold, we are appointed to save you, your household and your followers, except your wife who is of those who stay behind.

And when Our messengers came unto Lot, he was sorely grieved on their account, seeing that it was beyond his power to shield them; but they said: "Fear not, and grieve not! Behold, we shall save thee and thy household - all but thy wife: she will indeed be among those that stay behind.
And when Our messengers came unto Lot, he was troubled upon their account, for he could not protect them; but they said: Fear not, nor grieve! Lo! we are to deliver thee and thy household, (all) save thy wife, who is of those who stay behind.
When Our emissaries came to Lot he was distressed and embarrassed on their account. They said: "Do not fear nor be distressed. We shall save you and all your household except your wife who is among those that will stay behind.
And when Our Messengers went to Lut he came to grief on their account, and their safety was beyond his power. But they assured him: "Do not be afraid," they said, "nor must you grieve, we will deliver you to safety along with your family but not your wife who shall join company with those destined to be left behind."
When My messengers arrived at Lot’s place, he became embarrassed They said: " Have no fear and do not worry. We are going to save you and your household except your wife who should stay with the wicked ones."
And when Our Messengers came to Lût (Lot), he was grieved because of them, and felt straitened on their account. They said: "Have no fear, and do not grieve! Truly, we shall save you and your family, except your wife: she will be of those who remain behind (i.e. she will be destroyed along with those who will be destroyed from her folk).
And when Our Messengers came to Lut, he was grieved on their account, and felt himself powerless (to protect) them: but they said: "Fear thou not, nor grieve: we are (here) to save thee and thy following, except thy wife: she is of those who lag behind.
And when Our messenger-angels came to Lot, he was distressed and worried by their arrival. They reassured ˹him˺, "Do not fear, nor grieve. We will surely deliver you and your family—except your wife, who is one of the doomed.
And when Our messengers came to LūT, he grieved for them and his heart was straitened because of them, but they said, "We are going to save you and your family, except your wife who will be among those remaining behind.

Said he, "Verily, in it is Lot. " They said, "We are best aware of who is therein; we shall of a surety save him and his people, except his wife, who is of those who lag behind."
And as soon as Our Messengers (readily) came to Lût, he was vexed on their account and (his expediency) was straitened for them (i. e., He felt his hands tied up). And they said, "Do not fear nor grieve; surely we will safely deliver you and your family, except your wife; she has (become) of the laggards.
And when our messengers came unto Lot, he was troubled for them, and his arm was straitened concerning them. But they said, fear not, neither be grieved; for we will deliver thee and thy family, except thy wife; for she shall be one of those who remain behind.
And when Our messengers came to Lut (Lot), he was sad because of them (his people), and felt himself without power (to save) them: They (the messengers) said: "Have no fear, nor be sad: We are (here) to save you and your family, except your wife, she is from those who will fall behind.
And when Our messengers came to Lot he felt distressed on account of their (coming) for he felt helpless to give them protection. But they (- the messenger) said, `Have no fear and do not grieve, (Allâh promises you protection saying,) "We will deliver you and all your household except your wife (who will not leave the place stricken with calamity and) who is among those staying behind.
And when Our messengers came to Lot, he was distressed on their account and in a predicament for their sake. But they said, ‘Do not be afraid, nor grieve! We shall deliver you and your family, except your wife: she will be one of those who remain behind.
