And if there touch them a hint of the punishment of thy Lord, they will say: “Woe is us! We were wrongdoers.”
If even a single waft of the punishment were to touch them, they would say, ‘Alas for us! We were indeed wrongdoers. ’
And if a breath of your Lord's torment touches them, they will Say: "Woe to us, we have been wicked!"
And if a breath of your Lord's retribution were to touch them, they would say, "Oh, woe unto us! Verily, we were wrongdoers!"
And if there touch them a hint of the punishment of thy Lord, they will say: “Woe is us! We were wrongdoers.”
Andif a trace of the torment of your Lord touches them, they will say: "Woe to us, we have been wicked!"
If a breath of your Lord's torment touches them, they will say, "Woe to us, we have been wicked!"
When a sample of your Lord's retribution afflicts them, they readily say, "We were indeed wicked."
Even if a whiff of the Lord's chastisement were to touch them they would surely say: "Ah woe, alas, we were surely sinful. "
And if a whiff of the punishment of your Lord should touch them, they would surely say, "O woe to us! Indeed, we have been wrongdoers. "
And yet, if but a breath of thy Sustainer’s chastisement touches them, they are sure to cry, "Oh, woe unto us! Verily, we were evildoers!"
And if a breath of thy Lord's punishment were to touch them, they assuredly would say: Alas for us! Lo! we were wrong-doers.
Were only the slightest whiff from your Lord's punishment to touch them, they would cry out: "Woe to us; we were indeed wrong-doers."
And if afflicted with a slight touch of your Creator's retributive punishment they -the infidels- shall say: "Woe betide us, we were indeed wrongful of actions".
When they are subjected to the slightest punishment of the Lord, they (the same people who jokingly ask for the punishment of God) cry: "Pity on us. We were indeed wrong."
And if a breath (minor calamity) of the Torment of your Lord touches them, they will surely cry: "Woe unto us! Indeed we have been Zâlimûn (polytheists and wrong-doers)."
If but a breath of the Wrath of thy Lord do touch them, they will then say, "Woe to us! we did wrong indeed!"
If they were touched by even a breath of your Lord’s torment, they would certainly cry, "Woe to us! We have really been wrongdoers."
If a whiff of your Lord’s torment were to touch them, they would certainly say, "Alas to us! We were wrongdoers indeed."
yet if a mere breath of your Lord’s punishment touches them, they will be sure to cry, ‘Woe to us! We were wrong!’
If but a breath of thy Lord's chastisement touched them, they would surely say, 'Alas for us! We were evildoers. '
But if a blast of the torment of thy Lord touches them, they will surely say, 'O, woe is us! verily, we were wrong-doers!'
Say, "I only warn you by inspiration;" but the deaf hear not the call when they are warned.
And indeed in case a gust of your Lord's torment touched them, indeed they would definitely say, "O, woe to us! Surely we were an unjust (people). "
Yet if the least breath of the punishment of thy Lord touch them, they will surely say, alas for us! Verily we have been unjust.
And if only a breath of the punishment from your Lord touches them, they will then say: "Misery to us! Truly, we did wrong!"
And if the slightest punishment of your Lord befalls them they would surely cry out, `Ah, Woe to Us! We were indeed unjust. '
Should a whiff of your Lord’s punishment touch them, they will surely say, ‘Woe to us! We have indeed been wrongdoers!’
