And had We made him an angel, We would have made him a man, and covered them in what they do cover.
And if We had made him an angel We would still have made him a man, and further confused for them the very thing they are confused about!
And if We had chosen an Angel, We would have made him appear as a man, and We would have confused them in what they already are confused.
If We sent an angel to them, We would have sent him in the form of a man (so that he could live with them and speak to them), and the truth would remain obscure as it is to them now.
And had We made him an angel, We would have made him a man, and covered them in what they do cover.
And had We sent an angel, We would have made him appear as a man, and We would have confounded them in what they already are confounded.
If We had chosen an controller, We would have made him appear as a man, and We would have confused them in what they already are confused.
Had we sent an angel, we would have sent him in the form of a man, and we would have kept them just as confused as they are confused now.
Even if We had sent down an angel as messenger he would have appeared in the garb of a man and filled them with confusion, like the one they are filled with.
And if We had made him an angel, We would have made him a man, and We would have covered them with that in which they cover themselves.
And (even if We had appointed an angel as Our message-bearer, We would certainly have made him a man - and thus We would only have confused them in the same way as they are now confusing themselves.
Had we appointed him (Our messenger) an angel, We assuredly had made him (as) a man (that he might speak to men); and (thus) obscured for them (the truth) they (now) obscure.
Had We appointed an angel, We would have sent him down in the form of a man - and thus We would have caused them the same doubt which they now entertain.
And if We had sent an angel as a Messenger or to companion Our human Messenger, We would have disguised him as a man, and there one disorder would be aggravated by another; they would not believe in him either, and a fallacious mode of reasoning would be created more than ever; they would not know whether to use the premise to prove the conclusion or to use the conclusion to prove the premise - a vicious circle.
Besides, if I had sent an angel , I would have sent clothed like a man and then they would be more confused
And had We appointed him an angel, We indeed would have made him a man, and We would have certainly confused them in which they are already confused (i.e. the Message of Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم).
If We had made it an angel, We should have sent him as a man, and We should certainly have caused them confusion in a matter which they have already covered with confusion.
And if We had sent an angel, We would have certainly made it ˹assume the form of˺ a man—leaving them more confused than they already are.
If We had made him an angel, We would have obviously made him a man, and would have caused them the same confusion they are causing now.
Indeed, if We had sent an angel as messenger, We would still have sent him in the form of a man, so increasing their confusion.
And had We made him an angel, yet assuredly We would have made him a man, and confused for them the thing which they themselves are confusing.
And had we made him an angel, we should have made him as a man too; and we would have made perplexing for them that which they deem perplexing now.
And had We appointed an angel, We would have had to send him in the form of a man too (that he may speak to men) and this would have made perplexing for them that which they deem perplexing now.
And if We had made him an Angel, We would indeed have made him a man, and We would indeed have confounded for them whatever they are confounding.
And if We had appointed as Messenger an angel, We would have made him appear as a man; and thus We would have caused to be confused to them that which they are themselves confusing.
And indeed, if We had made an angel as it (the Sign), We should have sent him as a man, and (then) We would certainly have caused confusion for them in a matter in which they are already full of confusion.
And had We appointed him (-this Messenger) from among the angels. We would surely have made him (appear as) a man and (even in that case) We would have obscured that which they are themselves obscuring now.
And had We made him an angel, We would have surely made him a man, and We would have surely confounded them in regard to that they confound.
