The truth is, man intends to continue unrestrained;
Yet man still wants to deny what is ahead of him,
No, man desires that he continue committing sins.
But man is after subverting his own future.
The truth is, man intends to continue unrestrained;
No, man desires that he continues committing sins.
No, the human being desires to exceed the limits.
But the human being tends to believe only what he sees in front of him.
Yet man is sceptical of what is right before him.
But man desires to continue in sin.
None the less man chooses to deny what lies ahead of him,
But man would fain deny what is before him.
But man desires to persist in his evil ways.*
Indeed, impudent is he who has no shame of his sins,
The reason for which man is denying Resurrection is because he wants to continue living in sin and does not like the idea of being held accountable for his actions.
Nay! Man (denies Resurrection and Reckoning. So he) desires to continue committing sins.
But man wishes to do wrong (even) in the time in front of him.
Still people want to deny what is yet to come,
But man wishes to go on violating Allah’s injunctions (even in future) ahead of him.
Yet man wants to deny what is ahead of him:
Nay, but man desires to continue on as a libertine,
Nay, but man wishes to be wicked henceforward!
Nay! Man desires to give the lie to what is before him.
No indeed, but man would (like) to act impiously in the (life) before him.
But man chooseth to be wicked, for the time which is before him.
But man wishes to do wrong (even) in the time (now) for the time that is to come.
(His denial of Resurrection is because) a human being likes to continue in his evil ways in (the life) that is before him (without fearing the consequences of his deeds).
Rather man desires to go on living viciously.
