Have they not reflected? Their companion is not possessed; he is only a clear warner.

Do the infidels not pause to think of their fellow - citizen and countryman* and his disposition, and weigh the matter mentally, give it due weight, and honestly admit that he is not possessed by an evil spirit nor is there a demoniac element in him. He is but a spectacle and a warning who stands manifest of moral and spiritual sublimity!
Have they ever given thought to the intention of their friend (Mohammad)? He is not crazy; he is only a plain Warner.
Do they not reflect? There is no madness in their companion (Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم). He is but a plain warner.

Have they not ever given it a thought? Their fellow man is not insane. He is only sent with a clear warning.
Have they not reflected that their fellow (i.e. the Holy Prophet) does not suffer from any madness? He is but a plain warner.
Has it not occurred to them that their companion is not mad but is giving clear warning?
Have they not reflected? No madness is in their comrade; he is naught but a plain warner.
Do they not then reflect that their companion is not possessed? he is but an obvious warner!
Do they not then reflect that their companion is not possessed? He is but a perspicuous Warner!
And do they not meditate? There is no madness in their Companion. (The Prophet) Decidedly he is nothing except an evident warner..
Do they not consider that there is nothing of insanity about their companion? He is only a plain warner.
Do they not think (deeply)? Their companion (the Prophet) is not taken by madness: He is only a clear (and an unmistakable) Warner.
Have they not reflected (so that they may see) that their comrade (Muhammad) has no vestige of insanity but is a plain Warner?
Have they not reflected that there is no madness in their companion, he is just a manifest warner?
