And they say: “Oh, that a proof had but been sent down upon him from his Lord!” Say thou: “God is able to send down a proof.” But most of them know not:

They ask, ‘Why has no Sign been sent down to him from his Lord?’ Say, ‘Allah has the power to send down a Sign. ’ But most of them do not know it.
And they said: "If only a sign was sent to him from his Lord!" Say: "God is able to send a sign, but most of them would not know. "
They say, "If only a miracle could come down to him from his Lord!" Say, "Allah surely has the Power to send down a miracle, but most of them do not use their knowledge. " (He does not wish to stun the human intellect with supernatural phenomena. He wants people to reflect and use reason (12:108)).

They said, "If only a sign was sent to him from his Lord!" Say, "God is able to send a sign, but most of them would not know."
They said, "If only a certain sign could come down to him from his Lord!" Say, "GOD is able to send down a sign, but most of them do not know."
They say: "How is it no miracle was sent down to him from his Lord?" Say: "God certainly has power to send down a miracle; but most men cannot understand. "
And they say, "Why has a sign not been sent down to him from his Lord?" Say, "Indeed, Allah is Able to send down a sign, but most of them do not know. "
And they say, "Why has no miraculous sign been bestowed on him from on high by his Sustainer?" Say: "Behold, God has the power to bestow any sign from on high. " Yet most human beings are unaware of this
They say: Why hath no portent been sent down upon him from his Lord? Say: Lo! Allah is Able to send down a portent. But most of them know not.
And they say: 'Why has no miraculous sign been sent down to him from his Lord?' Say: 'Surely Allah has the power to send down a sign, but most of them do not know.*
And the infidels say: "If only a convincing divine sign be bestowed on him, a sign we perceive mentally or by sight! Say to them O Muhammad: "Allah is Omnipotent enough to send down any specific sign, but most of them are so ignorant to know the truth".
They say: "How come God does not send a sing (a great miracle) to announce his prophet hood?" Say: "God is certainly capable of sending such a sign but the majority of them do not get it
And they said: "Why is not a sign sent down to him from his Lord?" Say: "Allâh is certainly Able to send down a sign, but most of them know not."
They say: "Why is not a sign sent down to him from his Lord?" Say: "Allah hath certainly power to send down a sign: but most of them understand not.
They ask, "Why has no ˹other˺ sign been sent down to him from his Lord?" Say, ˹O Prophet,˺ “Allah certainly has the power to send down a sign”—though most of them do not know.
They say, "Why is it that no sign (of our choice) has been sent down to him from his Lord?" Say, “Allah is surely powerful enough to send down a sign.” But most of them do not know.
They also say, ‘Why has no sign been sent down to him from his Lord?’ Say, ‘God certainly has the power to send down a sign,’ though most of them do not know:
They also say, 'Why has no sign been sent down upon him from his Lord?' Say: 'Surely God is able to send down a sign, but most of them know not. '
They say, 'Unless there be sent down some sign from his Lord' - say, 'Verily, God is able to send down a sign, but most of them do not know. '
They say, "Why has not a sign been sent down from his Lord" Say, "Verily, Allah has power to send down a sign, but most of them do not understand. "
And they have said, "If (only) a sign had been sent down upon him from his Lord!" Say, "Surely Allah is Determiner over sending down a sign, but most of them do not know. "
And they say, 'Why has not a Sign been sent down to him from his Lord?' Say, 'Surely Allah has the power to send down a Sign, but most of them do not know. '
And they say: "Why is a Sign not sent down to him (the Prophet) from his Lord?" Say: "Allah certainly has the Power to send down a Sign: But most of them do not understand. "
And they say, `Why has not a sign (asked for) been revealed to him by his Lord?' Say, `Surely, Allâh has power and is Appraiser (as to how and when) to send down a sign, but most of them know (it) not. '
They say, ‘Why has not a sign been sent down to him from his Lord?’ Say, ‘Allah is indeed able to send down a sign,’ but most of them do not know.
